The Stock Market thread

As I expected, the residual correction from yesterday's fall was range bound. Market opened flat, gained a bit momentum, lost it midway to only come right back up.

This has been the case with the previous two falls as well. Kinda mimicked it on the charts as well.

Pharma and IT index are showing good strength. For the former, look into API, CDMO, speciality chemicals and companies with major distribution pipeline in USA.

Also look for companies which will be benefited from the vaccine distribution. And I mean distribution, vaccine creating companies will be benefited anyway. Filter the noise and choose wisely.

ITC
TATA CHEMICALS
ASHOK LEYLAND

DEEPAK NITRITE

LAURUS LABS

ITC showed good strength recently, it's back down to 200 levels, let's see if it can retest successfully. Otherwise dividend toh aana hai hi tagda.

Deep conviction in Deepak Nitrite and especially Laurus Labs but please look into their fundamentals and their business, don't base it on some twitter handles.

Right now DN seems very hot, so I kinda wanna see how it goes before adding more. Yesterday and today were great day to add Lauras.

Tata chemicals looking good as well. Need some more confirmation before deploying capital.

Ashok Leyland, this one is a bit more involved, depends on further sector recovery from Corona effects. But keep on watch with the new LMV and e-bus releases.

Wow finally. i always wondered about why there isnt a thread for this in a forum where most are young. chalo sab stock experts name three stocks that will beat the INDEX in next 3-5 years.

Biocon.

It might not beat INDEX for next 3-5 years but I bet on it to recoup all of it and much more in next 10yrs.

Please don't just buy blindly, purchase price matters a lot. Do your own research.

Itc is a cash cow so not worried about charts.

DN i understand quite few expandable possibilities.

Laurus lab have less understanding but trust management. also debt seems on higher side hence lighter allocation.

Recovery has to be good. government foucs+increasing need of transportation.

tata chemicals is my bet because they made chemicals need for ev battries

For starters finding fundamental research mind boggling, try smallcase (https://www.smallcase.com/).

They do bucketing of stocks based on certain criteria, and while doing a basic scan, I found their recommendations pretty decent. There is also smallcase creators, where stock selections are updated possibly much more frequently, but that's paid sub.

Sensibull is an excellent option for those looking to learn and invest in...options.

Smallcase is amazing for newbies. also try weekend investing if you have good capital. the guy who handles it excellent no non-sense guy.

also look for pharma smallcase. will mostly outperform other indices.

I work in the pharma space, and I have a huge chunk in pharma stocks (long term picks like DRL, Abbott etc). Evergreen investment tbh. Keep on buying in dips.

Pharma and finance sector makes the majority of my portfolio atm.
