I think it was the 6th time that Nifty couldn't hold 15900+, when it fell the broader market just followed the sentiment.

Asian markets already opened down and Europe looks to be the same.

That 15680-15900 range has been quite tight.

and choppy af t00

I was thinking about buying the 16000 NIFTY July call option. Good thing I didn't. I must continue my urge to resist options trading as i have stayed away from it this year.

:naughty:

would not have earned good profits today as second half was full bearish, and daz whurr i med moniz :puspa:(on intraday basis k)

IPO is meticulously planned at the peak of the cycle when R&D Capex has died down and ROE/ROCE + OPM are improving.

More interesting would be to see that how ROE/ROCE + OPM decline after a few quarters when R&D picks up again.

Not to mention the DRHP is filled with words like "Green" and "Clean".

For listing gain though, good opportunity.

Okay I ll research further, I was actually going to invest for long term, was planning to buy on listing day. Thanks for the feedback.

IPOs are always dressed ready for auction. The results are decorated with so much effort.

I am not saying that the company isn't good for long term but I am not sure how their margins will pan out. You'll get ample of time to invest in it post listing day.

If you get the allotment then book profit and buy again when the price catches a break and add as the company performs, not as the stock performs.

Correct, will do this, buying on listing day is also not a good idea.

Anyone eyeing Tata Motors? Tough fall on the backdrop of JLR update but with EV play in future, the narrative is quite good
I'm keeping an eye on Tata Motors, will pick up if it goes below 300 I think, my GTT was at 280, updated it to 299 so I get notified if it's falling

Yeah, the market just reacted to the -ve OCF and EBITDA commentary but the fundamentals haven't changed. They do also say that post chip shortage you will continue to see the last quarter's growth which I completely believe with the budget EV play.

I don't have much quantity but my current avg. price is 60 so I can afford a bit leeway. Will be looking to add around 280 as well.

Wow ur avg price is 60rs? That's sweet. I think the only way Tata Motors can turn itself around in India is capitalizing on EV. No one is really interested in buying their traditional cars. But I am sure they will do great with EV. Personally I feel Tata Motors can break its ATH of 600 soon within the next couple of years.

Yeah, I bought some when the market completely thrashed the stock last year.

There wasn't much change in fundamentals and the stock price had limited downside.

But small quantity, nothing to get rich out of.

I think with EV, Tata can do a turnaround. Tata Elxsi is already filling patents on patents and Tata has already unveiled plans for 10 EV models, so they can carve out a budget space in this segment because not everyone can buy afford even a Tesla Model 3 in India.

I'm hoping it drops below 300 tomorrow or next week. Aiming for 290 to enter, and will add further if it continues to dip

In such stocks I look to enter with minimal downside. Right now Nifty is in retracement, if it breaks 15650 then it would make a triple top and other stocks might follow suit even more.

So I am just waiting for the weekly close but if TAMO plummets to like 260ish then I will surely enter otherwise my preferred range is 280-290.

downfall of 200 pts :wOOtjumpy:

15800 PE, BC....20 mein liya, aur 27 mein kalti....BC it reached 165 and i think closed above 130...couldn't hold as it was OTM when i took it, took few other trades too, scalped actually....but goddamn, 20->165 (could have got 10k, but went home with just 1.4k)

Anyone planning on subscribing to the Zomato IPO? They will be quite cash rich after the IPO. With Amazon not really gaining much traction, Swiggy is their only real competitor

It will be oversubbed hundreds of times easily. You will be lucky to get allotment.
