Everyone is going long on Tata. Just make sure you don't get in on the peak and feel the brunt of correction.

How would we know?  Are you suggesting by Technical charts?

I have been holding some shares of TAMO - DVR but very few quantity. Was averaging since 1-2 years.

It will go to 600 minimum and 800 if bull run continues. Corrections are normal. I feel it's very undervalued. I entered at 121 sold at 183. Then again at 201.

It is undervalued but last 20 days rally seems to be fuelled by sentiment rather than growth. Plus, once a stock goes viral on twitter, it will fly off. All I meant was, don't just get in because it's flying, corrections will come and one will need to stay in for the long term with patience, so homework needs to be done.

Although I am also set for going long, entered at 77.

Technical is one thing but I am looking for a bit of stability in the stock movement. Pump and dump seems to be the trend recently.

Bro look at today's volume 100 million in 20 minutes. No operator can pump and dump this.

True, just waiting for a bit of stability in the movement. My investment at 77 is already multifold now.

But why only in those 20mins? Same volume can come in a selling phase. Actually, that same routine has been observed multiple times in last few months. The stock really has potential but personally, I am looking at how it manages post such volume injection.

This might not result in the most profits but in the probability of success.

I am long in motors, chemicals and steel but since quite some time. Didn't buy at current levels.

Any of you guys bought any of the 3 IPOs that we had this past week?

If yes how much did you buy? And why?

You can't buy in IPO, you subscribe and pray for allotment.

In retail quota, max is around 15k per application. 1 application per pan card. But most of the time, it's plain lottery. Best chance is to apply with different PANs and different demats.

For HNI, you can get guaranteed allotment if your capital is "enough" and I put those in quotes because that is a high investment game for ex: One needed to invest around 35L in Indigo IPO to get one lot of shares. Could have been around 40L if many people put in the same bids of 35L.
