Ok I'm all good now. Apologies for the rant yesterday, but it was a long time coming.
This indeed is a beautiful thread. I've been an IVG member for more than a decade, I don't post much, but do read and follow a lot of gaming topics. I'm really glad that fellow gamers are also animal lovers/pet parents.

These pics are of my late dog Ripper who passed away in July 2020, left a huge vaccum in my life. Was with us for 15 years since he was a two months old pup. Pure indie intelligent dog. He was the brat of the family and love of my life, my best friend.

Some of his old pics.6b0e7bb33f09cec425d8ed9362504d1e.jpg1ccea77c7778fc52a4f01f6192db9eb2.jpg2a526fb998cc814835e1365d2b5b1fbe.jpg

Thought of sharing something after seeing so many pet pics. This is 'Rocky' (desi) and I in feb 2016. Rocky was our third dog (one at a time) and a huge problem child. He had a problematic behaviour which took way too long to get sorted (he was moody and bit us so many times, that too furiously). Wish we would have provided him training when he was a puppy. He died in April 2016 and for the first time, we have no pet since his demise. Man, it's difficult to process a pet's death, it's like they take a part of you when they die, and my family and I aren't ready for that experience again.

Brilliant pic bro. I feel your pain man. Losing a pet is very difficult to deal with emotionally. I've been in a constant state of sadness ever since the demise of my dog. My family also took time adjusting to the lack of his presence in our home. For the first few months it's absolutely heartbreaking.

But with my society and locality strays, I have something to look forward to everyday.

Cats are kinda hard to socialize once they're past certain age and turn feral. You can feed them and give them water etc, but no touchy-touchy.

Speaking of Pets a Parrot used to behave just like this in my old house.

Not "feral" as such but very suspicious of humans and other birbs.

I wish the red ring green parrot was more common in the wild instead of these useless pigeons :/

I need some suggestions, i have a 1.5 year old male Labrador....he's humping everything nowadays, i've let him do that.
I don't have the heart to get him neutered, besides a vet told me it would only effect his virility and not his libido. So how long would this phase last and how to calm him down during these days.

does he hump you or any other family member as well? If yes, he's trying to dominate and you can fix it with a little training. See youtube videos.

This is Mauji. 7 months old. Total brat! Love him so much, but bugger has eaten up all of my free time since we got him! Nobody told me raising puppies was so hard.

Cant see your pics.
Guess some privacy restriction.

Me and few friends of mine organized a stray feeding drive this Christmas. Two years in a row. We do our own bit by ourselves on a daily basis, but once a year in a group we feed the nearby locality strays. It was a feast for them, we managed to cover 300+ dogs with about 150kgs of home cooked food.fcc2b5c04f75b318ef2749ca80c8b6ff.jpg6d1f559fd9b2fba3c8746e81d5b36e07.jpg48fbfe433ecf8d4785969bd2e79b8fff.jpg13cfde81d302d814892d825bd42e0c9d.jpgfa2be52fe256c0b921700d18b918ed11.jpgb39429f712d13dae892b5f857ef146af.jpgf9a9e669b065c502de2a7e902075a2a3.jpg
