Popular Post devil4949
Devil Shepherd. A fitting name, was famous for his fierceness among outsiders and also helped fend off a couple of snakes. Although, Monkeys did scare him. Used to play all sorts of games with him as a child : wrestling, out-out, cat chasing, horse riding, dancing to name a few. Old pics, don't have more and he is no more, died 3 years back aged 15 and was my first. Had clicked these to get prospective mating partners. Found a third pic. It's so soothing to watch the cat wake up, yawn, stretch themselves and then scratch this post. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
Jigsaw
Man these cuties are adorable. And I’m actually scared of cats Want one. But always resisted because there’ll be no one to take care of a kitten when both of us are out at work.

Problem with my one is she'll wake up and scratch everything else aside from the post. She tried to scratch the christmas tree the other day and ended up with the tree on top of her. Mind you, when I walked in to see what happened she was happily chewing on one of the ornaments.

All they need is food when it's time and a litter bucket to sh*t in. They sleep 12-15 hours a day.

My worry is with no one home for the better part of 10 hours during the day, they would be super bored and could loco ?

No compromises as far as his toys, litter box, hygiene. Everything else can wait or be cancelled.

It's nice that you care about it. A lot of people buy pets for their fun and then later can't take care of them.

What is it that they do? I’m also equally worried if they’ll attack my consoles or smth. I know that sounds crazy but

I know that sounds crazy but Only when we sleep we leave it alone. Otherwise there's always someone to take care. It usually sleeps. Sleeps a lot. When he's awake we play with him. Sometimes he wakes us up at 3 AM.

She mostly sleeps or sits in the balcony staring into space or sleeping. Nothing's been destroyed so far. She has her toys she plays with and chases around when she's bored and we are busy. Cats generally are not destructive. At least do not require as much maintenance as much as dogs. Cats just need food, clean water and a place to poop. Dogs are like kids. Need more love and attention. Dogs, you walk in the door after stepping out for 15 mins and they'll jump up and treat you like you've gone away for years. Cats will probably look at you with disdain, with an expression akin to the *beep* you want?

With the current WFH I guess this would be a great time to get a kitten and get her through the initial adjustment phase with both of us around all day.
