LordSpymaster
Never used it. My logic with appliances is that spend a bit more but get something that works for a long time. Like our washing machine is 15 years old, was expensive at the time and still works (IFB)

Go for Daikin or General, will cost more but much better. Other than these look for Samsung. LG isn't what it once used to be and while I haven't had problems with our Hitachi's but many people do. Definitely go for 5 star or at worse 4 stars (new rating system, not the old one), your bill will thank you.

And take the 3 year brand extended warranty. Otherwise you end up paying a lot lot more. Just had a major failure with the outdoor unit including gas leakage fixed recently. 0 money spent because of the extended warranty from LG.
DinJo
LG are good but not best also 3 year doesnt help much since refrigerator and acs are more robust and are meant to have longer life there are only very few cases where these products fail. dylanjosh
I have LG also. Most people here were saying General is the best. Edited February 11, 2021 by dylanjosh

DinJo
https://www.bijlibachao.com/top-ten/best-air-conditioner-ac-india-2021.html  Though the above is based on power consumption the reputed brands have been highlighted.  I've have been using Carrier 2 AC for last 5 years and had very good experience with them they provide better value for money compared to brands like O general, Hitachi and Mitshibushi as they are quite expensive almost 25% higher price Edited February 12, 2021 by DinJo
Jigsaw
+1 for anything 3 star rated (something about 3 =5 stars) from LG from the last 1-2 years. On from 7pm to 7am every single day of the week and bijli bill is 2690 like clockwork. That despite the supposedly already high prices for energy in Mumbai.

But again if i switch on and off the fan takes off.  Shall i return the product? Edited February 13, 2021 by hope

The reviews for this product are full of complaints that the fan keeps running even when it's not in use. Might be normal or a defect.  Is it able to keep the PS5 running when power is cut?

LordSpymaster
I would say no. I have had mine for over 8 months now, with the same 'problems'.It's a feature Oh. So no need to replace then?Don't think so. Mine too switches the fan on once light goes but it shuts off pretty soon itself. Smell too when the fan is working, but it's fine I guess... KunjanPSD
Looking for LED battens to replace existing tubelights at home. Should be able to switch between warm/cold tones and controllable via app (is this via wifi/bt?). Alex and GA integration doesn't matter for me. But should be bright. Any suggestions? Which are the best ones?
