Bird Bird Bird
The 1500 VA is working fine. I get about 30 mins of playtime on OLED+PS5 once power goes off. Good enough to safely shut down. No interruptions. AVR mode is pretty neat. Never realised the level of voltage f**kery in my area before this. At night, the voltages are almost always north of 270V ! Edited February 9, 2021 by Bird Bird Bird

I will consider this in the summer/monsoon season when powercuts are an issue in my society.

Haven't tested it yet since the manual asks for a 10 hour charge 1st time. Pics below. Also, this piece was tested in Sep 2020 so seems a newer/more recent piece. Can you connect your TV along with PS5 and see if it works too. I am gonna buy this too for TV + PS5. Just need for proper shutdown.

I would strongly suggest against using a single 1100 VA model to drive both big tv and PS5. My UPS used to instantly shut down from time to time depending on the overall load. Especially HDR games or videos. Now I have TV and Console on separate 1100VA UPS. Edited February 9, 2021 by quixote_1989

While playing the PS5, I switched off the mains connection of the UPS and the switchover was perfect. Didn't see how long it would last, though there's enoughy warning built in with audible cues for low battery. The fan that switches on when on UPS power brings out a smell from the unit that I just cannot explain. Smells weird. Doesn't last long though since either the light comes back or I turn off the PS5 and the UPS. Overall a decent buy at 6k. Can you try this and tell what happens - with mains on, start a graphics heavy game and go to a dense area where processing load is as high as possible and then switch off the mains to check the response of the UPS. My current UPS does fine in menus but crashes in-game with heavy load

I need to add another UPS but wire placement is a PITA. Wish the cords on these UPS were longer.

One over the another Third one is a different brand which had a longer cable, but if you get all APC, you can stack them up on each other, and then use wire extension boards.

Because you will actually end up saving money on your electricity bill if you go with the new 4-5 star ones. Our bill dropped down by 10-15% per month.
