Even if it launches with bugs, there's no way in hell its gonna be as bad as CP2077.

I don't think people understand the mess that was CP2077 at launch in any platform other than PC.

First impressions

  • Settings changes don't save across restarts
  • Game crashes randomly
  • rubber banding sometimes
  • I hate the AI soldiers
  • No proper IFV/APC, they have something that is an AA basically aside from the tank
  • Speaking of which there seems to be no way to customize vehicle weaponry/gadgets
  • B key is hard coded to "Call In Vehicle", with no way to bind it to something else in keybinds
  • I like that they have added the MI-24 Hind in this.

What are you playing it on ?

I tried many different settings for GTX 1060 and game still runs like a*s

A Battlefield game is exactly that - a Battlefield game. The setting may change, the era being represented may change, but the overall mechanics and gameplay carried over. The launch version will have bugs, which will get ironed out (often introducing new bugs at a later time). There will be hackers from time to time.

(Except Hardline, I have no words to describe that anomaly).

So played it for a bit on the PS5. Absolutely getting rekt with crossplay on. The game is fun though, apart from the occasional bugs. Crashed my jet a few times so I feel normal now.

Also, was quite suspicious when I began playing quite well in a match after turning crossplay off. Turned out, all others were bots.

GTX 1660 Super, it puts all cores on 100% though and bottle necks the gpu.

GPU utilization is at 30%, I guess this really does need those new 6 core 12 thread CPUs.

Also it runs like a*s, 30-35 FPS at any setting because of the CPU I'm sure.

Has the beta opened for all users?

Yes, as of today, I was playing for 2 hours in the afternoon.

There is cross play also, I was put in a squad with PS users.

Yeah, this beta just made sure there is no Day 1 purchase from me.

The specialist BS breaks the team play aspect.  With BF 3 and 4 you could simply see what class a rando is playing and know that he is a medic or engi. In 2042 everyone uses the grapple, Faulks syringe pistol is useless. No one drops medpacks or ammo. You have no idea what kit a player is carrying

AA is toothless and  typical DICE fashion they'll never confess Helos are broken and nerf it .

2 tanks per side at the start. in a 128 player game with the map size of orbital....lol

Picking up ammo from a player gets you 10-15 rounds which is horrendous considering no one drops ammo.

Cant access map  in the game or scoreboard.

As much as everyone gives CoD sh*t, the Vanguard beta... even the Halo infinite beta were a lot more polished than this.

The game is coming in superhot and will be with a look in about 3-6 months from release. Needs more time in the oven.

So true. I felt exactly the same. 2 tanks per side is so much BS. Atleast in BF3/4, you unlock more vehicle when you capture points.

I had no idea what my squad mates got...medic, ammo kits, what? Confused as hell.

CPU AND GPU Temps going 82 degrees. its fine right ?

@PhantomShade CPU Uti is 100% as you said. Guess have to upgrade :(

Yes it's ok.

Going 95+ is bad.

And no your i3 9100f is just like my ancient i5 4690k, both have 4 cores 4 threads, sadly it's not enough for this.

Anyway the game is not BF4 reincarnated for next gen, so no need to hurry with upgrade.

You mean the map is too big right? If yes i agree. Whats the fun if you have to FIND an enemy to kill :roflroll:

You can spawn at the hot areas where there are lots of players.

The issue is for 128 players and such a huge map they just have 2 tanks per faction.

specialist system is garbage, there are clones running around on your map, both yours and others, and you can swap the gadgets and all, theres no way to know who's medic, who's support, who's engineer

Then there are those AI cannon fodder, what is the f**king point behind those guys? this isn't dota2.

Also they have removed the weapon modification from that spawn screen system they had, if you change weapons, it doesn't remember your modifications so you have to do it in-game again.

I can't believe they somehow managed to f**k this up, all they had to do was basically BF4 with next gen graphics and some futuristic weapons and vehicles here and there, along with that ingame weapon mod system, vehicle call in and 128 player games.

This has been an issue since BFBC2. Its not an issue with the game. its the people.

Played some hours on PS5. And i would say its ok. Not a big fan of the specialist thing. Graphical glitches are very much present. Visual indicators (who is what, Kill indicators etc) are a mess. Since, i was playing mostly support i wasn't able to access defib. Do you have to unlock it or some input is assigned to it? Didn't find it in kit modifier as well.
