No, it doesn't work that way now, you basically walk up to a guy and revive him, and your char magically produces defibs from his a*s, it isn't a seperate gadget like it used to be. source : me and 2 other guys who have the exact same specialist as me, one dies, I revive him, this is a spot to the left of the big rocket iirc, you can access it through this zipline. gecko89 Posted October 9, 2021 Report Share Posted October 9, 2021 Played it for few hours yesterday on PS5, only technical issue I noticed was some assets snapping all over the place. Gameplay wise the ability to have different specialists have different kits is weird, I didn't know who the medic was and who the ammo guy was. Also, need more vehicles in the beginning of the game. Except console users will likely turn off crossplay with PC, at least most will. First thing I did when started the beta. Didn't have any issues finding full lobbies 4 games straight. Had motion blur, chromatic aberration and film grain on at first, but later turned those off because those are irritating. Runs beautifully, plays sooo, soo good on PC. For me, day one buy without any doubt. Also, for people who thinks you have to run too much, I must tell them, it's BF, you spawn on your squadmates or captured points based upon what objective you want to capture. There are people who are not giving you heal or ammo, because it's free beta, thus lots of people trying the game out who don't have any idea about BF games. Better play with your friend in squad. You will have better experience. BF is better with friends than solo. Also, its beta gameplay so didn't have Russian or American specific models for respective team like full release.... Would like to know where the server is located. People are complaining about the bugs....yeah it's there, but doesn't hinder any gameplay or intense moment. I only personally saw one bug while in chopper, that the pilot model is clipping out from the cockpit. Also, in rare instances, enemy model got stuck after dying....although those eventually disappear so not a big deal. I dunno about console version. Give me the whole scorecard when I press TAB. Please. Why would I want to go to squad and see merely the names of the players playing. 3. Classes are confusing. 4. want to see how much damage I've done if I don't get the kill. 5. Game is unplayable if ping is above 150ms. I usually have no problem in other BF Games. this game just refuses to register bullets. 6. Continuing from 5th point, Bullets sometimes don't register when you spot an enemy and start spraying. For BF2042, I guess the usual time to buy would be sometime next year when it has been optimized and many PS5 players have got their hand on the game so finding console lobbies would be easier. Plus the price is a bit too much IMO, so wouldn't mind a 2nd hand or a discounted piece. And I used to play that bomb the objectives and advance game mode a lot more than conquest (on the metro map) and will be looking to play something similar on this too. Yeah sadly this game ain't worth it at launch. I don't know who suggested them to limit the nos of vehicles . The changes to weapon load out and this new class system is so meh.
