We are required to go around the level the first time & then its a straight route to the boss...I think its fine. Also...its NEVER the game, its always your mistake. Sometimes it feels as if the game's cheating on you & cheaping out, but the 2nd time around you'll notice its your own mistake that's getting you killed. And above all it really makes you realize your mistake...its hardcore & its manly ! We need more manly games this gen. This is the best Demon's Souls overview out there & I agree with it 100% cause its true I’ll tell you what happens in Demon’s Souls when you die. You come back as a ghost with your health capped at half. And when you keep on dying, the alignment of the world turns black and the enemies get harder. I think when people realize that they stop sucking at the game. Its when you think before every step forward you take and every move/slash/roll/shield you do in combat, the game becomes quite easy and you'll see how fair the game is. As long as I play with that mentality I was killing bosses in first try, but the moment I got overconfident and played with "dekha jayga" mentality I keep falling in ditches and getting killed by mobs. The game punishes you for dying by cutting your health cap in half and making mob even harder to kill because it just doesn't want to hold your hand. You can call this making a man out of a boy or strict parenting lol. The opposite effect is when you do good in the game (do good = just don't die), world tendency goes to white and the game becomes even easier because mobs/bosses HP is lowered. Whats up wih that? complete any of the worlds 2,3,4or 5, the final boss of each of those words is an archdemon. IMO don't go to 1-3 even if you beat one of those bosses, because i found soldiers very hard to kill and one shot from them takes away lot of my health, increase your soul level first and then proceed. Btw where can i find Yuria? Haven't played for last 2 days due to office. Will again start on weekend @ Karoo, I also want to get this. What are the bonus contents.
