It was by no means a bad game, but by the trailers that were shown I was expecting something epic, which it just wasn't. Also it was horribly repetitive. IshmaelIsBack Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 Biohazard 4 all the way.I expected an EPIC makeover to franchise redefining the genre but was a shooter ( awesome shooter ) after all which had ABSOLUTELY NO elements which come to close to the genre - Survival Horror  Devil May Cry 2 is another.The exact opposite of the first classic and one of the very first titles on the Playstation 2.It was made by a brand new team so no wonder.  This gen , it's Gear Of War.It was hyped as if it could blow away your mind but it didnt for me and so was its competitor , Resistance.So we here bought it on day 1 ( BEFORE it was officially released here ) to see what it has , just another shooter after all.There are lots and hellafa lots of shooters swarming every consoles which makes these titles no different.But none denied those 2 are great titles ( especially the MP , both of'em are really good and I prefer both on par ) and people love them , just a letdown for me.  GTA IV - The MP of GTA IV is just an insult to this gen as plain as it gets and to think this had been advertised in billboards just makes one's day.As they all say everywhere , The Sp had all the same with some minor gameplay advancements , some impressive ( to a level ) environment and character physics ground up and visuals ( nextgen duh! ) and a terrible story with ( I agree that Niko's the best character and on par with Tommy Vercetti , thats imo ) a badass character but overall GTA IV = Jack of All Trades and Master of NONE and another BIG letdown.
