I agree. Assassin's creed has killer graphics. Gameplay, Physics, Combat, everything top notch. Only problem is...... the missions. I am currently playing it and almost on completion but the missions are incredibly repetitive. I don't feel like finishing the game (though i will).

The premise of the game is fantastic. The story is brilliant for me (so far) but because of the missions you kinda feel it develops really slow. Makes you feel you were given an option to skip such mission to advance the story.

Another drawback is the lack of subtitles. UBI really should think of including subtitles in their games.

But its still one of the best looking games in recent times. The cropping makes it a movie like experience. Altair is one damn good and well worked character.

But anyway, it certainly didn't live upto my expectations. It was proven to be the best upcoming games with its trailers but the game disappointed. (not big time, but still).

I wish the game hadn't given me any chance to criticize it, I want to love it completely, But I just can't. :)

(I am playing the PC Version btw).

My take on Assassins Creed -

At end of the game you will you'll become this stealthy silent killer, the game will force you into a situation where the easiest thing to do is just stab the guy right in the middle of broad daylight with a dozen armed guards standing around not doing anything about it.

And then, with one assassination done, eight more await you. Eight more of the same thing, over and over. Same cities, same lame investigation missions, same forced anticlimactic, fumbling kill at the end.

After the you enjoyed the first couple of missions, there is nothing exciting in the game. it all falls apart once you realize that the design team only had five ideas total between them and that nothing new is ever going to happen.

Felt so bored at times that i just saved it there an clicked on power off and left the room.

Best thing was the Background score and Graphics. :majesty:

No offence to the assassins game lovers, it was just my take on the game.

My perception you see B)

Too bad the Background score was nothing like Kyd's past work. And it was repetitive too. But still it was good.
