How is sky's record in first class cricket?

purely speaking from numbers, his avg is less than 45 in FC but there is one thing in SKY that not many in our current lineup have is the killer attitude.

honestly speaking 8- 10 years ago, the selectors wouldn't have even thought of him, such was the standard required to enter the indian batting lineup. guys like badrinath, amol mazumdar, manoj tiwari  & a few others who never/rarely played for india wouldve walked right into the current indian batting lineup.

No doubt. Drop Rahane. Move pant one up. Bat Jadeja at 6. Ashwin at 7. Thakur at 8. Bat deep and bowl deep.

It's quite good. More than record his temperament will count here.

Very good actually. He has enough domestic and 1st class experience.

Good then. He should walk into this team. Though 45 average in India means he isn't used to big innings. Sir Jadeja has better record in India. 3 triple century legend. Glad he is finally performing as a batsman now.

I don't give much weightage to domestic record. We should always pick players who are hungry and in form. Sky can be a game changer but we will only know after few innings from him. Even Iyer has a 62 domestic average so another option to keep in mind for selectors.

Aus could not chase 127, not only did they lose the series they lost a lot of pride too. They were only 4 down and still could not chase it down, what a sad performance.

Weird way to lose.
None of their batsmen are on the tour.

Y dont matches start at 9 30 / 10 am in England like we do in India.

Its pretty stupid starting at 11 and losing all play.

As per ECB dew is a factor in morning and people can't reach stadium early as train tickets in peak hour is very high. So, they can't start early.

I saw Australia innings. They simply don't know how to play spin or slow balls from Pacers. Without Warner, Smith and Maxwell this team can't even win from Zimbabwe.
