Shardul Thankur Ruled out of Lord's Test

One test is all it took, guess ishant will make a come back, or they will need to induct back Ashwin.

Broad And Anderson Seem Injured too.

This will be a bigger setback for Eng then India.

England and India have been fined two World Test Championship points each for their slow over-rates during the first Test in Nottingham

Congratulations to both :P

As a team we were not pleased we lost two points because of factors that were definitely in our control," India captain Virat Kohli said on Wednesday. "We were short by two overs, but we made up quite a few overs in that second innings.

Absolute chu*giri at ICC side.

A heavily rain affected match wouldn't have gained anything by getting 2 extra overs.

Damn, Rohit missed the Lords Century, damn damn damn.

Will remain a big regret for him.

He should be much more happier that he was able to at least get that many at lords :P

Good match awareness from Rahul to see off the last over before tea instead of giving strike to a fresh (and out of form) Virat Kohli against Anderson who was in the middle of a great spell.

Not at all. Both teams were pathetic in their over rates. 8-10 overs were lost daily despite extra half hour being taken (this is not counting the rain stoppages). Only ~250 overs were bowled in the first 4 days, which less than 3 days worth. Whether it rained in the final day or not is irrelevant, question is only whether they bowled according to over rates during the time play as on. And who know if both teams would not have wasted so much time, we would have won on day 4 itself.

Lets be practical, 4-5 fast bowlers on both sides, wet outfield and we expect, 8-10 overs that is worth 30 mins of play, won't be lost in 4-5 days of play.

Rohit has really proved everyone wrong with no feet technique and getting out on swinging conditions to playing one of toughest conditions rohit has really proved he is the best batsmen over all format.

Rohit's no-feet movement chokes the purist in me everytime he goes out to play.

I can live with it now. I have liked few of his innings but can never become a fan.
