Pujara needs to get his form back as well. But amazing batting from India on Day 1. Wished Rohit Sharma gets a hundred. Bloke has had good starts on foreign tours but 0 hundreds. Absolutely awful. i would have taken 368 at start of the yesterday. But after the start we got, 400 was bare miminum. Jadeja would have scored few more if wickets were in hand. Actually we should promote Jadeja ahead of Pant. Pant is more capable of getting quick runs than Jadeja with the tail. Jadeja & Pant have been doing their part actually.. Its not yardstick. But a personal achievement that every batsman would love to get, that he would be remember and remembered for his life. Have you ever seen the walk batsmen get through the sitting area (where all British elites and connoissuers of cricket sit). Its simply ridiculous. I just can't imagine the goosebumps one could get. Batting today was as expected. Bahane is good for nothing, Rahul played a loose drive, pant played his usual self, Jadeja still don't know how to bat with the tail but his 40 is real gold. Shami at 8 was a joke. Effectively we have 4 no. 11 starting from no.8. Where 450 was a given they dragged themselves to 364. Sun is out, pitch isn't assisting swing.
