Crashing to 36, Ashwin Vihari defiance yo safe the match, Pant Spiderman, See you at Gabba chat and then Gabba happened. No other team will go for such a big chase with a second string side but f**k yeah we did it. Even in that the no look six of Washi. Lord, Bumrah and Shami scoring runs throughout the series. It was just a dream. It deserves a documentary like The Test. I read somewhere a documentary is being made on that. This guy is a gem of a thinker and I am sure he even had plans for Root in England series but it's a travesty he was never played. Hopefully going forward he plays every f**kn test for India. It's like Australia not playing Warner or Sri Lanka not playing Murali in their prime. I hope when he retires he goes for coaching. Also, Ashwin should be the Vice Captain and not KL Rahul who has been absolutely average in a captaincy role. Was checking his records and his average in domestic FC is around 32 after 140+ innings. Does England too have a quota system? Same with Crawley but he's shown some promise even though his avg in domestic is slightly worse at 31. Rory burns and Sibley look to be their best bet even now. He comes from a very posh english family and his Dad is well connected to the selectors and ECB peeps that is why he keeps getting chances even after averaging about 10 this year.
