venkatesh prasad seems to have had crush on Athiya shetty, he is totally ripping apart KL rahul.

That said high time old players speak more openly, this KL is an amazing case study of favoritism. He will make it to some business school books.

Wont read much into it. One thing to learn from bcci and team India is that always do the opposite of what they say.

True. Backing him may mean backing him as test player in future but knowing BCCI and Indian team, they will still play him unless there is a perceived injury or niggle. However selectors literally have given a hint to not play him.

Aakash Chopra is trying his best to defend KL. A mediocre test opener defending another one isn't a surprise.

I don't get team management fascination with KL.

Rohit was always very good in white ball. Improved drastically in tests past few years.

Kohli has a legacy of being top class performer in all formats.

So, if these 2 get a longer rope when not in form it's still digestable as both still have a huge fan following too.

KL neither has a history nor the fan following like these 2 and still he is protected. Baffling.

Its unbelievable.
Aakash chopra part of BCCI commentary panel, trying his hard to defend KL Rahul. Instead of stating facts and making critical comments, he's at it defending Rahul.

After his overseas 100 in South Africa, Rahul has hardly scored runs in any format.

I also fail to understand BCCI's fascination towards making every good player playing in all formats even if they are not suited for it. Why can't some players just play one or two formats which suits them. This is also to do with player maturity. Other boards and players seem to understand this and be content about it.

In KL's case when it's obvious that he is struggling in tests, why can't board tell him to take a break, play some county or domestic matches and come back. Even KL knows his place is secure in ODIs and T20s.

Yesterday's match was such a heartbreak! So close yet so far. If only if they had match awareness in 19th over, they could have won the match. For the first time, I saw pressure in those invincible Aussies' eyes.

As Naseer Rightly said the Schoolgirl mistake by Harmanpreet cost India this game. That was absolutely lazy running irrespective of the fact she wasn't feeling 100% well. This game shouldn't have been lost. And Indian women fielding simply sucks while Australian fielding is top class. Difference between 2 sides.

We need to get some top coaches and spend some good money on Women's cricket.
The mistakes they make is very basic.

Dropping mooney twice.
Dropping lanning and missing her stumping.
So many misfields and stumbles. Just horrendous.

We could have saved atleast  10/ 15 runs easily.

I don't know how you guys watch that slow motion cricket. Even ladies in my house switched to their daily soaps after watching few overs and saying it's too damn slow. Imagine watching that daily in wipl. Good luck with that.
