He is pathetic, both as a captain and a person. I absolutely hate both him and Krunal Pandya.

I mean what kind of filth you are if you behave like this when millions are watching. How pathetic you are when no one is watching you.

Not a fan of Samson. But in IPL this year he intentionally padded a wide so Yashasvi can get his 100. This is how a caring Captain behaves. I think Ashwin was right that Indian team doesn't have friends and only teammates now.

August 30: India warm-up matches in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram

August 31: India World Cup matches in Chennai (vs Australia, Oct 8), Delhi (vs Afghanistan, Oct 11) and Pune (vs Bangladesh, Oct 19)

September 1: India World Cup matches in Dharamsala (vs New Zealand, Oct 22), Lucknow (vs England, Oct 29) and Mumbai (vs Sri Lanka, Nov 2)

September 2: India World Cup matches in Kolkata (vs South Africa, Nov 5) and Bengaluru (vs Netherlands, Nov 12)

September 3: India World Cup matches in Ahmedabad (vs Pakistan, Oct 14)

September 15: Semi-finals and final

"Ahead of tickets going on sale, fans will have the opportunity to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will enable them to receive ticket news first and help secure their spot at the World Cup, and experience the joy of cricket in one day," the ICC said in a statement explaining the process.

How exactly people wanting to come from another countries plan travel, such stupidity.

It is such a disgrace really! BCCI never cared for fans really. The fact that the batches are being rescheduled for an ICC event 45 days before the event begins, speaks volume about how BCCI treats the fans! I wonder what sort of analysis they do ( Dharamshala test match for Aus series and now religious activities)? Didn't they already know about these dates and activities? Did HPCA lie to BCCI about ground condition? I'm sure they already know and still did it anyways.

I'm also sure there will be more controversies during ticket sales and facilities etc over the course of next few days till end of world cup.

Ya and sadly not much ICC can do, also what is this non sense of selling tickets in 7 phases, it's absolutely so sad.

Seriously! It is blatant misuse of money power BCCI has over ICC (it is one thing to do this internally and another thing to do it in open) and not caring for cricket fans.

And what about match on November 12 between India Vs Netherlands? Isn't that on the same day of the biggest festival people of India celebrate?!?

This has to be trashiest WC of all time. Reminds me of the 2007 WC which had overpriced tickets, very long Super 8s, elimination of Ind and Pak, and complete dominance by Aus which made every Aussie match a one sided one. No hype this time even though host country is India. Ind vs Pak rivalry will be the only thing worth watching. Here's the 2015 WC Theme song which was thee best of all time.

I think it's the format, 50 over ODI is a drag now, it's a 7-8 hour affair with 10-40 overs being a drag, and with the T20 approach teams are not even able to bat out 50 overs. ICC should just kill this format.

Same Plans :fear1:. I remember 2011 SF Ind Vs Pak Mohali tickets pricing, 1000 Ticket was available for 10-12k. Now planning to buy 5 tickets of 3000 each and then selling them for 10k each :fear1:.

On the other hand, IIRC today the squad will be announced for the Asia Cup. If we win the Asia cup only then there would be hype for the upcoming WC & India would become certain favourites. SL are the dark horses for me this time around, both for the WC & Asia Cup. Pakistan are an average ODI side.

Would be surprised if this is not the initial squad for the Asia Cup:

Rohit, Gill, Virat, S.Iyer, K.L, Hardik, Jadeja, Shami, Bumrah, Siraj, Chahal. Bench: Shardul, Kuldeep, Ishan & Sky.

Best. But that was different , in todays age it will be a lottery to get a ticket.

Yes, Bots will be there. But best bet would be target higher Tier tickets, Base price tickets of 1k Would be the ones targeted by most of the bots and scalpers. 3k tickets would be the sweet spot and would be better to resale.

Pakistan are good
They have a solid bowling attack.
Shadab n nawaz are good spinners.

I would play Shardul over Shami actually and Kuldeep over chahal.
