And anytime there is a transition in our cricket someone will always end up as the villain. True. Its needed also now. All seniors are over 35. Agarkar is also heavily involved. But, the way they have structured t20 team after Rohit, Virat & jaddu's retirement is really good. Seems to have built solid set of players
AtheK
The actual team that should play next match in this particular order Jaiswal KL Rahul Shubman Gill (He also needs to step up, but let's give him the benefit for now) Nitesh Reddy Rishab Pant Jurel Jadeja Sundar Akashdeep Bumrah (C) Siraj I think Nitesh has the temprament to replace Kohli at #4, but ofcourse this is wishful thinking on my side. Nitesh Reddy * Nitish Rana is the left handed batsman who used to play for KKR But agreed on Nitish having a great temperament, he can be groomed to be good with both bat and ball.

I think they should focus to get him to bat at #4, bowling can be on demand, seems to have a good head to bat long. Kohli should be dropped but won't be. Rohit sharma, you can't and shouldn't drop the captain.
nitinveer
Someone in Indian dressing room is really smoking something! What sort of team selection is this. Doesn't make any cricketing sense at all. The captaincy and tactics leaves a lot to desired.
GunnerY2J
Kohli lost india the match with that run out. Didn't even say no, ball watching after the call made.

Felix the cat
Im not gonna give up on kohli that easily but i dont think rohit has anything left to contribute in test cricket. He seems finished. I think he will get retire after this series, that would be best for him as well as for the team. Idk what he's looking for, with that fitness aaj nhi to kal retire hona hi padega. Felix the cat
Whats wrong with rishabh pant, it looks like he's not serious about his cricketing career.

Yeah it seems weird that he tried that shot even when they was fielder. The situation demanded playing out overs.

Right
BC, why Ro45 had to come back, we went from 1-0 (which never happens to us) to 1-1 and will lose this series. And Nitish man.....what a moment

KnackChap
Rohit looks mentally exhausted, like he’s being dragged by someone on gunpoint to play the games. His fitness is also another concern. virat’s problem is more with his ego. Just needs to tame his ego and slog it out for a few matches. That sachins innings at sydney should be shown again & again as an example to these guys who are playing all kinds of stupid shots.
Felix the cat
Is this the last time we are watching rohit in tests , its just hard for me watching the OG squad retiring, time really flys man, it really does. Now i understand what all of my elders meant, when they used to say the same thing when i was a kid. I never grasp what they trying to say, all i wanted to grow up fast and do my own sh*t independently, bc i i didnt know that jawani 4 din ki hai and after that slow crumbling cycle starts. This age thing really making me depress, my mind just keep looking for dots to connect everything with aging, interestingly im not afraid of death, maybe after 50s let's see Edited December 28, 2024 by Felix the cat

AtheK
If this joker of the year Rohit sharma does not score in second innings he should directly go to airport after getting out, what a couch potato of a captain in test arena.
