Ha bhai, these news channels became more sadak chaap than real SC.

I mean why its needed, those days of shahid afridi, akhtar, bhajji, gautam gambhir are long gone. There is hardly any bad boys on either side. The boys on both sides are descent. That ind-vs-pak sporting rivalry is still there but there's respect also between the players. I still remember the day we loose to pak in t20wc in 21, both sides were friendly. Wo log jersey and bats exchange kr hai, aur ye media and entertainment industry wale abhi bhi wahi fati hui been bajane me lage hue hai.

The only bad boys left are in media and audiences.

Old days were fun to watch. Today lame kumbaya is boring

India vs Pakistan matches are boring now.

Lets hope its not australia. :nerves:

If we loose to NZ and ends up 2nd in the tabel, then I'll be rooting for SA on 1st march.

Australia will win.

Both India and South Africa are chokers. Both will choke in finals.

Lol

It would have been fun to hear your thoughts if this power outage had happened in pakistan.

Looking at the earning of BCCI, there infrastructure is sh*t, they cant escape by just sanctioning one or two big stadiums in the country.

The players are highly underpaid if compare to the similar earning sport leagues, 80% of the player' earning still comes from sponsorships and advertisements and not from match fees.

I forgot which match was it when ground's support staff was using towels by hands (manually) to drain the water at the time of rain fall, majority of grounds doesnt have proper water drainage system.

Why there are so poor facilities for the spectators? And obv drainage is just one thing, even aesthetics etc, Indian stadiums are just a concrete jungles with little architectural beauty.

Lets not forget poor training facilities (not talking abut metro cities), and grassroots development of infrastructure in the country, all this despite having billions of revenue.

Every neighbouring country except Bhutan and China going downhill.

Bro, Idk who you're listening to that is telling we are doing great in terms of the economy. In Reality, the difference b/w china nd india's economy is huge than india nd pak. I know you must have heard million of times that pak's economy is doomed and its a nation of beggars but the fact is there population is just 24 crores, which is often ignored by most and in terms of GDP per capita they arnt much behind us. In short they dont need 20 trillion economy for its 24cr population to sustain, but on the other hand we do and we have limited time to reach there bcs of the aging population barrier.

Ive noticed that everyone out there  concerned about pak more these days. However we are not doing good at all, infact our economy starts slowing down. But no one seems to worry about that.

It was 2014 when the term '5 trillion' was coined and a promise was made that we would reach this milestone by 2020. Its 2025 now and we're nowhere near that milestone. Its just shocking how fast people can forget. I still remember those days in 2010 or 11 when indian reporters used to visit china to show us how good there infrastructure was, and question the decisions/actions of the then

sitting-gov. Why dont we get to see such reporting anymore? Have we achieved it all ?

Not comparing China. But We much better than Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri lanka nd all. Im not gonna compare with China yet. We have long road ahead. China much ahead now.

China brute forced itself into development at all cost in 1970s and became developed  country in 2008-2010. What we were doing between 1960- 2013?. Nothing but Scams and appeasement politics. Who were in power for 50 years? Why they didn't do it like China?

I will stop here and not gonna take this discussion further coz it will become extremely political and mods will start banning, lets just stop and get back to cricketing topic.

I haven't named any political party or any political leader for the same reason. I just mentioned the facts, not speculations.

Tum logo ko tabse bolta dekh, mujhe laga mai bhi do shabd bol du.:giggle: Btw you should check out bangladesh GDP per capita. Maybe then you'll start worry about our own economy.

Bangladesh falling apart now. That gdp you bragging about is falling apart after Military coup and regime change which happened last year.  Textile industry of Bangladesh destroyed and now coming back to India. Its all set to become next Pakistan or Afghanistan.

Go read news.

I know one German shepard sitting in Germany was bragging about Bangladesh gdp few years back, i guess you learned it from him.

Why would I be bragging about that By giving the example of Indian reporters visiting China in 2010, my motive was to point out the lack of self-introspection, and how we totally kicked-out that mindset of comparing ourselves with the best and not the worst.

P.E:-

Hey btw, that textile industry never came back, it shifted to Vietnam. Sorry just noticed that sentence of yours

IMD I dont watch that german Shepard or any youtuber. I lost all hopes on digital media, there are too many factors influencing it. Print media is the only way to go these days.

All media is biased including print media.  There's no such thing is unbiased media.

Why need to go and copy China infrastructure? Why not Japan or some European country ? China is not our friend, its actually threat to India's Sovereignty. It controls our territory and destabilise north east.

Also, We don't have China style political system. China has one party authoritarian government and they remove all political and bearucratic obstacles to achieve whatever they want in country which includes development at all cost. We cant do it here same way. It will be a long process and will take positive political atmosphere and strong stable leadership.

I haven't said anything about biased or unbiased. I was talking about number of factors influencing news in digital vs print. Print media is better thats all.

Are bhai Im just saying about media when they used to show better roads and city planning of china in their prime time shows 15 years ago, how they were allowed to say things that are much difficult to say now. Its not about china:doh:, japan jao, S. korea jao, europe jao, kahi bhi jao, lekin jao to. Yha to pakistan ko BigBoss bana dia hai, waha aata kitna mehga ho gya hai, bas yahi chal rha hai. Friend, enemy?......I was just talking about media and our culture of debate and questioning back in the day, tum kahi aur hi nikal gye.

Bro, but its you who was "bragging" about china's radical reforms in 1970s and making comparison with our Indian gov term from 1960 to 2013.
