Your First Game / Earliest Memories of Gaming

Super mario bros, Road fighter and a lot of other games on the NES. So many afternoons in so many summer vacations spent at the local arcade sipping those iced orange drinks (that came in the plastic packets, the kind that you get milk in nowadays) and gaming. Or watching other people play, waiting for a machine to free up.

 

Good times.

 

Used to be a time when I could finish SMB in one playthrough (or a 15 minute slot that was yours for 1Rs on a machine) without dying more than once. I tried with an emulator now and it seems an impossible.

First game ever:- Altered Beast. On the sega megadrive (also known as the genesis)

First PC Game: the Original Quake!!

first i used to go to those video game parlors to play those racing games on steering wheel then i got my NES used to play mario all day but never finished it .also played the baseball game IT was the best game in those days .

Oh excitebike and baseball. Forgot them. Also used to play a lot of tennis and golf on the NES as well. Thats some grade A MP gaming right there.

 

I remember how big a deal the 16 bit consoles were. Esp as SNES had a cricket game in it.

 

First PC game of my own was World cup cricket 99 from EA on my PC, prior to that played a lot of Doom in school. And that WWF wrestling game. What was that called?

I think you are talking abt Royal Ruble, the one which had yokozuna, Doink, Hitman etc..

I remember playing this game on the atari where you had to make this thig jump across a pond using lilli pads...that was cool..and there was the normal space invaders clone which I played...

 

And then there was my spectrum ZX...had a lot of good games... I loved this game where you were a kangaroo and had to eat everything up... had to eat everything up ..and there was this racing game called pole position..

First video game was Frog Hunt on the Atari. First PC game was Doom. Brilliant.

Digger, Zaxxon, Paratrooper, Cats, Bricks - from the day I got the 8088. No hard disk, boot using a floppy. Put in the game floppy disk and digger.exe. Good times. Then a friend gave me the original floppies for the first PoP (2x360kb 5 1/4" discs) - and I was hooked on the series.

wen i came in this world i there was a little master in my home already bcoz of my elder bro......... so the first game i ever played was MARIO on the little master(obviously)

then after many many years i had got a PSone and the first game i ever played on it was FIFA 2004.

then aft a few yearsthe first game on my PS2 was FIFA STREET.

now almost a year back i bought the PLAYSTATION 3 and my first game on it was FIFA 08.
