Marvel's Wolverine

Marvel’s Wolverine is a standalone game being directed by Brian Horton (creative director) and Cameron Christian (game director), who recently led the creative efforts on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a game we’re extremely proud of at Insomniac.

In the vein of our Spider-Man games, our goal here is to not only respect the DNA of what makes the character so popular, but also look for opportunities to make it feel fresh and truly reflect the Insomniac spirit. Even though Marvel’s Wolverine is very early in development, from what I’ve seen of its emotional narrative and cutting-edge gameplay (see what I did there?), the team is already creating something truly special.

No release date mentioned in blog. 2022-2023 maybe.

Wow....Spider-man 2 and Wolverine both in 2023!

Wasn't mentioned in blog post. Either 2022 end or mostly 2023. Looked very early and just a small glimpse compared to Spidey 2.

F*ck yeah! This is what I wanted from Insomniac games. After how well they handled Spidey, I can't wait to see what they do with this one. Hope they don't wimp out on the gore. I mean the last (and the only) good Wolverine game was X-Men Origins Wolverine and that was freakin' ages ago. Super hyped for this one.

A welcome announcement. Wonder what his face will look like. Definitely not Hugh Jackman like in the previous movie tie in game.

f**k. How is Insomniac consistently pulling off so many AAA games and releasing them within 2-3 years. In the industry, the average AAA development is skewed towards 5 years.
