So started with SM2, and PS5 keeps shutting down every 10 mins or so. Randomly. Any clue ? Should I open up and clean ? Or has it gone kaput ?

That’s a mighty big statement to make.

And after finishing the game i stand by it . Best spiderman story told while keeping good amount of things for 3rd part. No way they can show so much in movies.

My thoughts after finishing the game , this is a solid 10/10 game if your a spidey fan still an 8/10 if you are not!!
Things i Liked-

1) The traversal feels so much better and sense of speed is upped from previous game, fast travelling is bonkers but whose gonna use it XD

2) The story is 10/10 here. Not too stretched but also not too short. I would say a perfect length

3) The combat is smooth and new abilites makes it more fun , also some of things you unlock are insane too.

4) This game has the exact Jaw dropping moments i had when i played Ghost of Tushima and played "THAT" part.

5)Side missions are also better than first game but falls short of GoT. Two of them are actually well done.

6) Boss fights are good , but still does not beat GoW 2018 ones.

7) All the characters have been nicely potrayed.

Things i did not like-

1) Enemy types. You fight the same enemy for like 80% of game. More variety would have been welcomed.

2) Characters sometimes walk too slow. hated that , wasnt necessary

3) After completing the main game the open world feels empty, they should have some random fights between guys of two bosses ?

About glitches i had them 3 times , mostly at the end of an side mission where the Triangle button wont appear , restarting last checkpoint fixed it.

All in all Absolute banger. Cant wait for whats next :)

Feeling kinda bored with pretty similar fights and side missions tbh. Not a fan of puzzle mini games and why is there so much walking in the game during Peter’s stories ?

Changed the difficulty to Friendly Neighbourhood and asked my daughter to play. :fear1:
Somehow spider still keeps on dying at that difficulty ? How ?

Yeah, not a fan of combat. There’s no evolution here it’s the same thing as Spidey 1.

Turn on Auto-Heal from settings and set it to 30%.

Also keep enemy health, enemy damage and stealth awareness to Friendly.

I think everything is at minimum. But also the DS is too big to execute special attacks by a kid (L1+buttons). Spiderman still dies.
Set pieces are cool, but combat is same as the first game.

Platinum'd it last night. Very easy plat, considering I could do it. Took a total of 31 hours. No guides followed. Used some game hints (the PS+ benefit) for some of the Spider Bots.

Really enjoyed my time with this game. Faced very little bugs, but yeah, those are a slight detractor from the overall experience. It's still surprisingly buggy for a game made by PS Studios.

The Fidelity Mode with VRR at 40FPS is the best way to play this game, IMO. I played the first half of the game on my brother's non-120 FPS TV (since I was travelling) and when I got back home and played on the CX, the difference was night and day (of course the non-OLED vs OLED was a factor, too)! It makes such a big difference to be able to have all ray-traced effects along with a frame rate that's locked at a steady 40 FPS. Super cool!

Really liked the side content in this one. So much better than the first one, and the end of the those side missions/content are very well put together. Almost all of them set up a DLC/sequel plot very well and leaves the player intrigued.
