playstation Posted May 27, 2010 Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 SCEE boss: GT5 looking 'amazing,' out 'soon'Andrew House, president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), has reassured PS3 owners that they won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on GT5, with the Polyphony Digital racer due to hit shops “soon.” Speaking in response to questions submitted by eager fans, House scoffed at the notion that GT5 is "just a myth," adding, "It’s looking amazing and will be out soon." mango_man Posted May 27, 2010 Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 alpha is not too far back...6-12months...and i played gt 4 so much on my ps2 that my fingers blistered...driving around the nurburgring on my skyline was one of the best feeling that i've had in any game...You people do not understand what im trying to say...just dont start barking coz i said some anti-ps3. 1. Never said it is a bad game. In fact i will buy it. 2. Never said RF2 is better than GT5. GT5 is a overall better game. But i said it will never compare to RF2 in the handling/gameplay department. 3. Never said NFS, RF2, etc are better games. I just said the sales of GT5 will not be as much becoz of all the competition. There is a Lot of difference between calling a game bad and speculating the game wont sell much...U frekin retards should know that and stop jumpng on people...atleast respect to HundredProofSam for staying on topic... Fair Enough. I dont find anything wrong in his posts. Except for da fact dat i dunno sh*t bout dat rfactor sh*t. It’s all the rage in the future, tearing its way through living rooms as it takes over PS3 gamer’s lives. It’s the game that’s been on its way for what feels like forever, but soon we’ll be blessed. Polyphony Digital’s game could be out before the snow hits the ground. Hell, it’s the release period we imagined, but with LittleBigPlanet 2 scheduled for Winter 2010, it’s good to hear that Gran Turismo 5 could be out before. Where did we hear this little nugget? None other than Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president Andrew House. He responded to the PlayStation Forum question “which game is going to be the ‘big one’ after GT5?” “I think we have a fantastic line-up of games coming out later this year and into 2011. We have just announced LittleBigPlanet 2, which is very exciting. The original game changed the way developers now look at developing games and the things Media Molecule has done with the sequel are truly incredible. I can’t wait for LBP2 to come out and can promise you that it will be great.” Of course, House most likely couldn’t talk about a game other than LittleBigPlanet 2, since it’s the only newly announced game (apart from Killzone 3 most recently). Though we’d doubt House would be stupid enough to answer a question on what’s coming after GT5 with a game that’s releasing before.
