Or they could use two images rendered at a resolution of 640*1080 & still do 60FPS.

Low resolution isn't that much noticeable in 3D due to the extra dimension & when you consider that the vertical resolution is still very high (1080) it should be even more pleasing to eye since vertical resolution is the most important of the two resolution...even more so in racing games.

Well could be, but i dont think they'll compromise on the graphics dept. especially when they've worked so much on it.

But god knows.

People are so hyped about 3D?

How many here actually own a 3D tv??

i think some here already own 3Dtv and other are holding it ot buy it as soon as some good offers or 3dTV without need of glasses come to India properly.

You guys should read up a bit on this - http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/06/19/a-gui...ds-and-dangers/

Personally I'd hold out atleast till the need for glasses for 3D is no longer there, and there needs to be an industry standard on 3D. Give it a few years and tech will improve. With many of you guys spending a lot of time playing (and if I spent a truckload on a 3D tv and sh*t I'd want to use it to the max too, human tendency) in 3D, current technology will increase eye strain exponentially.

3D like the ones we currently have will never happen without glasses (unless the screen is small like 3DS), cause there is just no other way to focus two separate image as one. We need something new....WE NEED:

This will get 10 most prolly, insane content for 60 bucks, high production values, setting a high standard for racing sims, the only way it wont get 10 is if some of the sites attack the 800 standard cars and damage modelling but acc to eurogamer they are extremely detailed as well so I dunno how anyone can give it less than 10.

but 95/100 in Metacritic is confirmed.

Precisely what I was saying.

Not to mention 3D being a very fluid technology at the moment. You'll never know what changes you'll see or how much prices will drop a year+ from now.

That...& community being "not as good as Forza" comments.

The damage modeling is actually great even more so for premium cars, atleast it won't limits itself to 3 variation of LOD to display damage like Forza does.
