I have not played any GT games before and why is so much of hype around this game.

Excuse me for being Noob

it's natural.....just like a God of War game would have hype before its release. This game has it's own band of followers. And yeah, it's a AAA title :P

How come Karoo didn't post the 70 tracks thing?

So ya, its confirmed (in OPM France I think) that GT5 will have 70 tracks. Not 20, not 40. SEVENTY :D

peace

including loops right? I mean, are there 70 different racing environments, or loops of tracks that add up to 70?

@dinjo

This game's hype doesn't compare to GOW3's. So yeah, it'll do well! :P

^ And that post has no business in the GT5 thread. Take it to the GOW3 thread. You might get the response you're looking for over there.

peace

what'd I do? :huh:

EDIT:

@keyo

Thanks for the confirmation mate. I thought, just had a glimmer of a feeling that, all of the WRC locations and stuff like that might have added up to that number. But sadly, not the case.

:doh: Suzuka has been in every GT games since GT3 I think , it a Japanese track , and a Sony game what did u expect. :P

You cannot be serious right , Istanbul is such awesome track to drive , the blind triple left turn at full throttle is breath taking experience , didn't u play Grid , it had that track.

I didn't read earlier that the track editor rumor was finalized :dance: we can now have very single bloody track in the world now in GT5 now , Via La Modders FTW !!! :D

:nono: they're official creators now :P

And I've always hated Istanbul, it's not very interesting if it's hosting anything but F1 races :/

Its Track "Editor" not Track Maker.

Its just like Halo's forge, you cannot make new maps instead you just have the ability to edit the already present maps.
