It gets boring with automatic transmission , Manual all the way. I avoid manual for the Vettel challenges tho , handling its pace ,racing line while changing the gears yourself is a task. Still find paddle shifting cooler. i also switched to manual after knowing the tracks well.Manual is all together a different experience and victory is more sweeter in Manual.especially on super cars. I've always used manual transmission. I hate AT. And I can't believe you dislike using a clutch in real life.
