Is that because you’re just subbed to gamepass and don’t buy ala carte games anymore ?

Nope. I only buy digital be it on the Xbox or Switch. Since I'm sharing with another person, costs me half.

Some people actually "buy games".

You don't have a choice as you "rent them". Hence digital is the only way forward for you anyways.

I buy digital games.

Still have games I bought 10 yrs ago on steam.

Don't buy day 1 mostly cause not worth it to get something like Jedi Survivor or Hogwarts Legacy for 4k digitally, then be stuck with it. Will add them to library on sale. Generally not a hype/FOMO person.

Though I did bought Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak day 1 to show support to Capcom for adding game to gamepass day1. That's rare though.

Don't mind if they release physical or otherwise. It was a joke. <_<

I do prefer digital over physical though. Been 100% digital since 10 years now.

Same here. I buy all my stuff digitally now. Can't deal with physical boxes lying around my house. Lol

I'm OCD about everything and always hated that despite taking every precaution, the console drive would eff up my discs. Never again!

As someone who recently became a console gamer, I love physical discs!

If I didn't enjoy a title, I can sell it and recover my money.

And if I liked it, its forever there as long as I take care of it.

I personally hate collecting "stuff" too, so I only keep games I'd consider 8/10 or above.

Digital "ownership" isn't that assuring....

Really wish they release physical for Alan Wake 2. The reasons they've given are really lame.

1. PS5 and XBOX released digital only variants for profits or in this case to make less of a loss per unit sold. Also going digital is generally more expensive for newer games.

2. I doubt it costs so much to print discs. But if it really is that way, increase the price to $70 for physical edition. Let the buyers decide.

3. "We cannot guarantee a nominal 10-15gb day one patch for discs so we'd rather have you download the whole fking 70gb"

This game is a dream come true for me.

Had lost all hopes of ever witnessing a sequel.

Played it in the same year as GoW 3 & it was still a good GOTY contender for me.

And that’s a lot to say.

I hope they preserve & improvise on the light & dark gameplay of the first game.

it was quite unique & luckily no other game tried to mimic it.

It was just awesome for its time.

Don't lie, you don't buy games nor play them...

They nailed the atmosphere of the first game.

and those wind animations looks top notch

4k video

That was barely anything. We saw gameplay like this for Callisto Floptocol and got hyped.
