Completed the game last night!!

The last level was INSANELY action packed... what a blast! Game threw everything at me and I didn't hold back with the weaponry and bullet rain on the Tyranids :gunsmilie:

This man's entrance with dual yielding weapons was so bad a*s:

The hardest part for me having played this Solo was the part in the game where you had to defend multiple antennas from those the Tyranid swarms. If you are planning to go Solo in this game just have patience and keep at it even though you will be dying in this game, a lot! The hordes are relentless and the AI isn't shy of swarming you real fast so keep your fingers on the trigger. Also, be sure to swap weapons and try different guns at those weapon stations to see which one works better for you on the given map and objectives.

Folks with a good 2.1 or 5.1 speaker system on your PC play this game on them... the weapon sounds in the heat of the combat is amazing! My old Logitech Z-5500 still sounded so good when playing this. :)

Yep indeed it’s the hardest part in the entire campaign & surprisingly it’s part of the first act.

Also it’s got more to do with not knowing the flying swarm bombers at this point in the game & how to defend against them.

I was 3player Co-oping at veteran & yet we just couldn’t get through at that difficulty.

Yup... that's the first time that you are thrown into actively taking them down and the game does not tell you in any form on how to defend against them. Also, the fact that you are also simultaneously attacked by the Tyranid ground forces in hordes makes this a very hard part. The health of the antenna once the flying swarms perch on them goes down pretty quickly. IIRC there were 3-4 antennas you needed to defend and running from one to another fighting the hordes was absolute madness. I nearly threw my controller away!!

Another HARD enemy is the Hellbrute! Holy sh*t... this guy refuses to go down, is armored to the teeth and attacks ferociously. I found throwing grenades are useless against it and stuck to raining bullets on it. Much to my dismay he the Hellbrute ignored my AI teammates and most of the time attacked only me making my life a sodding horror story when I fought him!! :bash:

Does any of this mean single player campaign expansion? Old single player campaign player here and new to warhammer lore

No campaign expansion as of yet.

But Campaign is pretty much useless once done with it….as it has no XP or any sort of skill progression.

Operations are the real meat of this game.

It has no difference apart from the set pieces from the campaign.

Can be played solo or co-op just like the campaign.
