KnackChap
Just came from td of xuv 500. Super awesome car for the price it's gonna eat up a lot of card below and above in it's segment Booked it yesterday itself, the top end AWD version. even the showroom guys have no idea about the delivery  apparently mahindra has sold around 8500 vehicles in less than 24 hours in just 5 cities. and ppl booking the vehicle today are already on a waiting period of up to 4 months its gonna eat up the 10+ lakh market. safari, aria and even captiva and t-fort are gonna be f**ked. KnackChap
Awesome kc is awesome I am so tempted to cancel the cruze and go for this do it. i almost went for the t-fort and was even willing to wait for the long delivery period but the idiot dealers wanted me to buy 2.5 lakh worth of extra accessories if i wanted a car and i was like WTF BC, yeh to blackmail hain. and then the XUV comes along with more features than the captiva/fortuner with at least a 7-8 lakh difference. its a no brainer really
godspeed4476
Yeah, it's interior looks much more richer and classier then fortunner, ende or aria. It also come fully loaded with features. Tell your that Toyota dealer to take that 2.5 lacs of accessiories and shove it up their asses. This car will clearly kill a lot of cars, good thing they priced it a few notch higher than Scorpio

godspeed4476
2,5 lac worth of accessories :| Had it been me, i would have went all rage on em and caused another meltdown. Compulsion to buy any accesiories even worth 1k is an outrage, 2.5 lac is far thought.

That's downright pathetic, you should email the guys in Toyota HQ regarding it with some details. I guess other than honda no 1 really cares about their customer. I really hope that xuv eats into the share of Toyota, it's a complete vfm. I am still amazed how are they being able to offer so much stuff for a reasonable price

I am gonna have the civic for atleast another 4 years, so it might make sense keeping civic and a suv vehicle, rather than have two cars of same class. Get the XUV. these are just the introductory prices and it'll go up in 2-3 months, but given the phenomenal response I wouldn't be surprised if they stop the bookings for sometime. Â Also, for launch buyers Mahindra is offering unlimited km's warranty or at least that's what my sales guy said to me (G3 Kandivili)
AtheK
Gs you pretty much nailed it with your explanation, and honestly civic is a better car then cruze.
