Drive in traffic long enough and I'm ready to pull out the gear lever by the end of the day. really, next car has to be auto or bust. Maybe paddle shift just to spice things up, but no frigging clutch pad.

Bah, I've begun wishing for a clutch in cars, everything's frickin' automatic here :panic: and I instinctively reach for a gear lever, that too with the wrong hand :P

I know ATs are easier but there's a reason why they call it a MANual. :P

With an F1 (Student) Visa, you can drive with an Indian license upto a year from date of entry as long as:

1. You have an Indian license in English with the punishments or infractions row at the bottom clearly shown.

2. You have your student ID on you.

The policeman who usually does the PR stuff with Georgia Tech was of the opinion that you can do so even as long as your program lasts, but I wouldn't test that when driving across state lines because they know that you can contest a ticket in court and win but that you won't bother contesting it if you're not a resident of the state.

I'll be taking the test here by the end of the semester and getting a Georgia license anyway.
