smart thinking bro, i have seen guys who have shelled out extra monies for diesel version of a car and have very low running. Its a moot point to buy a diesel car if average running per month is very low

Same thing here, that is why I opted for petrol variant of Ritz. Price difference was 1.4L, add to that interest as part of car loan. It typically takes 35000 to 40000 kms of running of a diesel hatchback to recover the cost difference (as per an article in a newspaper earlier this year).
