Tinbin007
hum main si kisi ki aukat nahin hai i doubt tht aman-wa........well abhi to meri bhi aukat nahin but it will be soon i hope otherwise as i said ill have to go for confederate' bikes.....and for the rest i dont think so ki hum mein se aisa koi nahin hoga jo ye na le sake...... good luck in importing one. with all the taxes and things u gonna pay, it would easily hit 1.5crores mark or something.good luck in finding roads in India to ride that beast. good luck in finding a good petrol pump. good luck in finding the bike to buy, cause afaik it is Limited in numbers. so yeah, you will need more than good lucks to OWN that bike btw one guy in India OWNS this bike nice bike @ madrid pooshe bro you are wrong bro the amnt it wud come upto somewhere near 2 khoka.........wid import and all other sh*t well roads we definatlely have a few otherwise someother arrangement is already available for taking this beauty to its max .......and maine kaunsa isse sirf particularly speed ke liye lena hai....... kyun be petrol pump ki kami hai kya hindustan mein mere ghar ke aas pass hi 4 pp hain .....oh u didnt know ki this even runs on diesel... and good luck finding it ..........yeah thts wht ill be really needing......as they make only 5 maybe 10 now , every year. a long time back in winter of 07 i guess yea it was near tht , tht i spoke to ted the ceo of mtt.....i was asking him alot about this bike man and the main things were the pricing and the availability and the import of it.............at tht time even the price was 35,000$ less than now and availability was ok ok as those guys are very careful about the customers to whom they will sell them.........looks like ill get it after 5 years from the booking date. and bro all these things like import , roads , fuel , etc were the first things tht hit my mind too but one by one the were struck of from my list as they were no hassles in them , the ones tht still remain are pricing (i just hope it doesnt keep rising) , repairing it in india , fuel economy - it has a tiny 8.5 gallon tank and runs only 4-5 miles each gallon , and a few small things......... well on my next visit im going to head over to houstan as they now have a showroom which is going to maybe have this bike maybe not , but yeah they do have sales office and repair and spare parts centre which is wht i need most ........... cheers
bubblehead
kyun be petrol pump ki kami hai kya hindustan mein mere ghar ke aas pass hi 4 pp hain .....oh u didnt know ki this even runs on diesel... even exotics running on combustion engines need high octane petrol/diesel to run. how do u expect to run a turbine engine with locally available fuel?
Tinbin007
i dont expect it to run but it runs on locally avialable diesel and even on kerosene (it must be of some grade though).......plz do some research on this if you want more answers..... bubblehead
turbine engines are used for model airplanes and i have seen some working. yes, u can get any engine to run on any fuel, but its all about the performance and engine life. Tinbin007
well the guys at mtt are using the rolls royce turbines whihc have been decommissioned they were used in bell ranger helicopters but they still have thousands of hours of life left.......these are are then rebuilt and then fitted into these bikes otherwise i guess the cost of a new engine itself would be way more than the bike.......also they have been rebuilt so tht they can use anything as fuel which burns........... Pushy
oh and one more good luck.....good luck in maintaining the BIKE coz mah FireBlade itself is a bit pain in the u know what to maintain, so u can possibly imagine how much pain in the u know what it will be maintaining MTT Turbine oh and that stuff someone said about fuel, yes u can run it on any fuel, but dude u r investing 2 cr, dude, 2 f'ing crs, so u don't wanna make ur engine die on u in next month of ur buy just mah 2 cents
