Just got my first servicing done for my bike (Yamaha FZ-S) !

Every thing is great, except that the front brake feels much more softer now than before!

It scares me a little while riding.

Is it normal and will the brakes be back to normal after few kms. (Already rode 28 km after servicing).

Hi

By soft I means it's not as powerful as before.

It takes a little more distance to stop the bike and not as quick as before.

Seems like the disc isn't working properly.

Someone told me it's normal for the disc to not work properly for 40-50 km after oil change.

I'm not sure though. It's very scary to travel now.

Hopefully it comes back to it's former self in few more kms.

I got my FZ 1st service done last Saturday. Seems like we both bought around the same time  You use the front brakes so much ? :scratchchin: The rear will do in most cases na?

Haha...I use both brakes together. But I feel that the breaks have lost a little power. It used to stop at much shorter distance before, now it takes few more inches.

Kinda scary when a car changes lanes.

Yea. Front brake is really useful when a car changes lane suddenly. Go to your service centre and ask about the same, or do a TD of another FZ to check that out.
