Mostly in a village called 'Ahmedabad' :)

But we have work in the U.S so had the Spur when it came out, was never too fond of it, keeping the badges aside nothing was impressive, but those are subjective debates, moved to a S550/500 after that and then a Cayman S, with some crazy mods, which I still have but hardly go there much as we pretty much have closed everything besides family living there and doing whatever they are doing,

Btw, whats the White truck being referred to as yours?

P.S If anyone is into mods these are some of the things I have done,

Track alignment with full Negative Camber

Track Wheels and Tires
Carnewal GT Exhaust
NHP Race Headers
Short Shifter
Under Drive Pulley
Iridium Plugs
Softronic Ecu Flash
BMC Race Filter
GT3 Brake Ducts
ATE Racing Brake Fluid
15mm Wheel Spacers
Regards,

:clapping: well i can u have a very good choice.. One can only dream of owning those cars. I really think that you will be disappointed by all the diesel cars here since you have driven all the petrol cars that too with mods.. I would say go for the 640 GC as i just saw ur post saying it would be either 328 or the GC...

And the white truck is my fortuner :P.

Mate,

White Fortuner rocks, if at all you are into it, try doing a Matt White Wrap, will give your car some crazy presence, and perhaps wrap the wheels Matt Black / Chrome :)

Thanks for the comments, problem is we are moving our home, and damn the construction workers keep delaying the place for us to move in, am going to Austria next week (Work Permitting) to test drive the Mercedes-Benz G63, it's all paid for by Mercedes India if I choose to go, but that car while it has the greatest presence as an automobile has some serious issues in terms of ride and water leakage, but will speak to them on how it's sorted with the 2012 models, but again being a CBU it makes it harder for me to convince the head to go ahead, but really think the BMW 530d is perhaps the best daily car for India, or the next choice will be the new Mercedes ML350 CDI or the Toyota Fortuner.

I have got the front bumper painted white, which makes it look even bigger, also got a very special number on it :P will post the pic in a while.

And Yea i saw the new G63 on the net. nothing new just a bit of refresh. there is one in our city and the owners hotel is opposite to our office and we see it daily.. Its a treat to the ears every time it passes by. You have F10 or the E60 5er ??

F10 Mate, Hated the E60, Honestly come from a era where a car was defined by the world Mercedes, but haven't been too fond of their new cars, but hoping it will all change with the upcoming W222 S-Class,

Yes the G55 had a wonderful sound just like every other AMGs it's pretty crazy,

Congrats man, By TSI you mean 1.6 engine ??

Thanks man, :drunk: It would be mostly 1.2TSI Putting out 105bhp, it will be turbocharged, so an easy ecu remap and stuff can make it cross 140bhp easily, and thats great for a hatch, nothing is confirmed though..

TAZ,

It will only be the 1.2 TSI :( Sucks cause the max engine size available in Polo is the 1.4TSI globally, and which is only in the GTi, and am pretty certain we will Not get the GTi :(

Am hoping they at least get the 1.2 TSI in DSG variant will be a perfect city car for India. Or even better would be the 1.6 TDI DSG, but for a company like VW India and it's management thats a long wishful thinking.

1.2TSI Engine is Better than 1.4TSI Since low end torque kicks in very early in the 1.2Tsi which makes driving in city very comfortable, 1.2TSI is anyways expected in India by next year not before that.

Yes 1.2 has a torque kick in at an earlier RPM which might help in city traffic but then the 1.4 kicks in from 2000 compared to 1550 in the 1.2 TSI, which itself isn't too bad but the out right fun is really noticeable, and there is a huge bhp gain, and almost 75Nm extra torque, but heck man in this damn country where we have no choices in terms of hatchback's any of them would be a good start and hopefully others will follow and the bar be raised, I hope DSG is at least an option in the 1.2 TSI (India Spec)

Mercedes & BMW have good plans for the A and 1.

But low end torque etc. is why I seriously wish 1.6TDI would make it here, best part is VW already has that engine in the Vento / Rapid so I don't know why can they just not get that in. And with this diesel crazy country it can satisfy best of both worlds, just like the BMW 530d does.
