The Wolfy among us
Ever so often you see a woman driver in a sedan or a hatch, not breaking any laws, following lane logic, using indicators etc, and going fast enough, it just warms your heart doesn't it? Banz
Lol. Why would he let a stranger drive it? How did someone so stupid end up earning so much money in the first place?

dullu
But the real Q is... Will the insurance company pay?? Also its one of those rare cases. Should not make much of a dent
The Wolfy among us
I don't think the insurance company will pay.
AtheK
Why not it is an accident, if car is insured they are liable to pay provided who ever was driving has a valid license
TAZ
Lol why do u guys think insurance company wont pay?? They will have to pay it no matter what has caused that accident..
AtheK
even if they pay 75%, owner is down 50 lacs, phew..
piper
The insurance on the car will cover a major bit of the expenses. Remaining amount will be claimed by Le Meridien against insurance they would undoubtedly have on their hotel premises (and any incidents that happen there). All in all, nobody will really lose much money. But I really pity the driver.
The Wolfy among us
I am pretty sure that I saw this clause in my insurance. So looked it up on some random insurance. I chose Aviva, and I am sure this is present on all major car insurance terms and conditions. The valet, was not the owner, or a "Permitted driver". Insurance will wash their hands off.
