devil_angel
Well the entry level diesel engine is of the Vento's 105 PS 1.6L TDi, but the other diesel engines and the two petrol engine options are indigenous I guess. Anyway, it's not really a driver's or a performance car, but has quite some kit for its price. EDIT: There isn't a cheaper car with DCT than this now in India, isn't it? AtheK
Also i dont know why but nobody compares elantra to these 2 cars - cruz n jetta. Elantra is always compared to corolla n skoda ambition. Any these diff leagues? Sluggish diesel engine is the main reason
TAZ
La**de ka govt companies are good. My dads Sx4 got badly damaged in Solapur some months back. Those chutiyas were asking for Toll plaza receipt. My dad doesnt have to pay tolls, so he had no receipt and its lieu he provided the diesel receipt and they have put in it as no claim for some chutiyapa reason. Lol.. I have heard that case for the first time..
LaughingMan777
Anyone like the new Mercedes AMG ad? I loved it and decided to remix it a bit. And extend it using some Top Gear footage: Edited August 22, 2014 by LaughingMan777
Pacifier
^^Nice job. And I love the ad as well. I turn up the volume as soon as I hear the intro ... Try to add the engine sound at the outro

LaughingMan777
Thanks Adding the outro engine sound would have been a great idea... just one of those ads that inspired me and I hunkered down and finished it off in a couple of hours . Don't wanna go back and edit it. Plus uploading to youtube is such a pain EDIT: Reminds me, I have another ad music I extended for Audi, the one where it shows the Audi car in a rally race. Maybe I should get down and make a vid for that too. Edited August 22, 2014 by LaughingMan777
Monokuma
Hey guys, any of you know any good places in Bangalore for stickering or modifications for bikes? Like wrapping or full on paint jobs (air brush designs). Found a place called Fusion Kustoms, any of you heard of them? Pacifier
Guys, i am planning to buy a used car here in hyderabad. Myself and my wife donot know how to drive a car and i thought it is better this way. I am thinking of going with i10. SO questions are (1)What are the best places to start searching for them?(dont want to look through olx, quikr etc) -i already am in touch with friends who will notify if any such thing comes up in their office. -Also visited Hyundai Advantage and currently i10 variant is not available and the one they have is 4.7L which is too much for me. (2) What is the max i can put for a used car for ex i10 Magna. I know some might tell to go for a new car instead. I too thought of it. If i plan to buy a new one i want to go for atleast i20/polo/punto etc but dont want to at this moment for budget/other constraints.

TAZ
Hi pacifier, I would suggest have a look at carwale.com. Its a really good site. I am posting the link which has 3 used i10's in Hyderabad http://www.carwale.com/used/cars-in-hyderabad/#city=105&filterby=2&car=8.164&kms=0-&year=0-&budget=0-3 But take this site for just an idea for the value of the used cars.. I would also suggest that you go for a new one. Maintenance, and insurance claims will cost you less.

Thank you... I will check that out.. I was checking cardekho as well. For how long do you intend to keep this vehicle? I would also suggest that you go for a new one. Maintenance, and insurance claims will cost you less. If i get a decent one with no problems, it would be a keeper. Yeah agreed on the new one. Its just that there is a chance of the car not being used after 4-5 months of purchase due to travel which is not confirmed. But i did check out new i20 and Polo. wats ur budget For a used one, thinking around ~3L. for an i10. For xing, <2.5L if it is in good condition. Not a good idea IMO. Get a Xing. Use for 6months and sell. Or get a Alto K10. Anything under 1000cc will be tough to handle with AC. Wouldn't suggest i10 as its more expensive. Use for 6months. both of ya can learn well in that time. Ditch it, or give it your wifey and get a new one. Dont spend like 2.5L for a Xing. Be it how good it is, it will get issues over the time you learn. So, you will have a bigger drop when you sell. 1.75-2L tops. piper
So I was driving on the Electronic City expressway when I saw two cars suddenly stopped in my lane. I was driving at near 100, so I braked hard and was certain of a crash but somehow my car stopped in time as did the one behind me. Lucky escape aside, I now feel that the steering is misaligned. If I keep the steering straight, car goes towards right. It is a very small change in alignment, but I'm sure it wasn't there before. Anyone with experience or knowledge in this matter? I will show it to the service center on Monday, but would be good to have some know-how so I'm sure of the possible issue (if any) and the right fix for that. AtheK
wtf were those two cars doing stopped in your lane. Also your issue seems more inline with Wheel Balancing, then steering misalignment
piper
wtf were those two cars doing stopped in your lane. Also your issue seems more inline with Wheel Balancing, then steering misalignment I feel it has something to do with the wheel/brakes as they went most stress during the braking. As for the incident : it was right next to the bylane, there was a group of bikes and one bike had fallen down. I looked to my left for a split second and when my eyes returned to the road, there were two cards stopped bang in front. I think car1 stopped, and car2 while trying to brake actually hit the guard rail on the right side. I was luckily able to brake in time. Reminded me to never ever look anywhere but straight ahead when on such high speed.
