Nischey007
Which gearless scooter would you most recommend? Activa? I'll prefer second hand if the durability of the vehicle is good. Go for aviator its better than both activa and access I own a activa and i regret buying it. shitty susppension. aviator has better pickup and better suspension.
AtheK
Yeah I checked! The limited edition is only available in two colours though. And the difference between that and normal vx is just the seat style :/ Oh just cosmetic, probably they will ask a premium too, not worth it then. I like the yellow and red color, they are signature vespa

Its also available in matte black, which looks good too, but it makes the vespa look like any other scooter.
Dredd
Primarily, wife would be using the gearless scooter. Also, don't want to invest much in it as I know utilization won't be that high. Arey. Wife ko jo achha lage wo buy kar le yaar. Maine to darr darr ki thokare khayi. Koi scooter jamm nahi rahi thi usko. Koi heavy, to koi stand pe chadd nahi rahi thi. Phir bhagwaan ko daya aayi. Wego ki test drive mai sab parameters paas ho gaye. Maine le li. Sab ek jaisi hai. Tere liye nahi hai to itna RnD mat kar.

The Wolfy among us
Guys Need some advise(again) in finalizing few deals that i came across. I am looking for a used car around 2-3L range and primary reason for that is (1) So that myself and my wife can learn to drive instead of experimenting on new one (2) Don't want to go for a new one. Because if i want to buy a new one, i would only go for i20/polo . But we don't want to go for a new one because there is a chance that we might go out of country for a while in the next 1 year. And do not want that new shiny car sitting around doing nothing. And also scared of giving it even a tiniest of scratches So decision has been made to go with i10. If the condition is very good, it would be a keeper as well in future. So not considering resale value etc at this point. Currently have the below options. Please advise Option 1: Grey i10 Magna with ABS/Sunroof etc (2008 limited edition version) ODO: 66000 Kms 1.1 L iRDE engine Condition : Decent with minor dent on the back of the car. New tyres FinalPrice: 2.9L - 3.0 L (carwale valuation at 2.8L for good condition) Have to get it checked at showroom but assume no major problems Option 2: Beige i10 Asta with ABS/Sunroof etc (2008 version) ODO: 41000 kms 1.2 L Kappa engine Condition : Interiors are very good but exterior there are lot of minor scratches which i feel we can get rid of. Final price: 3.2L - 3.3L(carwale valuation at 3.0 for good condition) Yet to get checked at showroom but assume no major problems Option 3: White Ford Fiesta ZXI 2007 model ODO - only 35000 Kms 1.4L engine Conditioin: Very well maintained car overall Final Price : 2.5-2.6L Yet to get checked at showroom but assume no major problems Please suggest which one seems a good deal. I want to go for the ford but as it is a sedan , just wondering if it will be problem/difficult to drive etc. Also the prices are from Mahindra first choice so he would be giving 1 year warranty on engine / gear box etc for around 5K. Thanks in advance. why is a 2007 fiesta being sold for so less? Check it out thoroughly, but overall if everything seems right, this is the best option. Otherwise, next choice is the 1.2 i10. devil_angel
But a 2007 Ford + Cost of their spares seems like a big downer for me :/

Let me rephrase - my wife has used Activa and she loves it. I just want to know if there is anything better so that she can take a test ride and compare. Our baseline for all comparison is Activa. My cousin just his fiesta after it was burning hole in his pocket due to maintenance Thanks for the response. The ford was sold by the time I decided to get it. The 1.2 Asta , when i went in aftn to check once again, ithad so many scratches and minor dents all out and hence dropped on getting it. Found a i10 magna 1.1 2008 in very very good condition for around 2.6L. Might end up getting it due to the way it was maintained .. Even though I feel I am spending 10-20k more. Bas.My wife has used Activa extensively in Punjab, at her parents place and mine (both places have an activa). So she is well versed with it. In Bangalore we don't have scooter. Enfield Thunderbird hai, though
Dredd
Then she can seamlessly transition to wego. Meri biwi duniya ka koi bhi scooter nahi chala paa rahi thi, usse bhi wego chal gaya. Just imagine, how easy driving it must be. With that body balance tech (it actually works), weight ka pata hi nahi chalta. Activa has weight.
piper
Agreed about Activa being weighty. Will compare with Wego. Any idea that if I buy second hand, which of these scooters ages well?
