blitzkreiig
An auto rickshaw scratched my month old car yesterday, it seems superficial and I'm "supposing" the clear coat is only affected... Thought I'd just remove it using the commercially available scratch remover pens/solutions... Is it advisable? Any particular products you guys use for scratch removal? I searched online and so many products are available, I'm not sure which one to choose.

If its superficial, I suggest you to take the car to some good fuel stations around you where there are people with sprays and scratch removers, I have used them 3-4 times and i was more than impressed actually, Taking the car to the service centre or any of the scratch dents shop, They would probably rip you off. Before you buy ask them to remove the scratch for you, Should cost you around 500-700.

I used this once with a microfibre cloth, worked well. http://www.amazon.in/Formula-Scratch-Heavy-Duty-Paste/dp/B0060HVFO2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1443499771&sr=8-2&keywords=3m+scratch+remover
AtheK
In Market for a second small automatic car for daily commute. Have shortlisted the following for test drive, any other suggestions.. 1. Ford Figo/Aspire (Powerful DCT engine, Loaded) 2. Tata Zest XTA (Decent AMT Engine, Loaded to the brim, DIESEL) 3. Baleno (No idea Launch on 26th Oct) Anything else i should try?

Xcent and Amaze are decent options as well. However, Amaze's interiors are a problem and Xcent's engine is weak. No idea on baleno at the moment. Ya i am specifically tilting at Zest Top end model, Tata has gone all gun blazing with that one. Plus since this is primarily City driving don't need a huge engine, you can anyway hardly hit 60 kmph in bangalore The diesel helps and tilts the balance towards this side even more, as daily commute will be cheaper by at least a 100 bucks i guess. Will go TD both of them today and then wait for Baleno to launch and pick one of the three, all other options are way behind in the list now. You need a sedan only or you can go for cars like i20/jazz as well?

No No i can go for a hatchback, as a matter of fact i wanted hatch back itself but zest just popped up in the list cos of diesel capabilities. In hatchback top of the list is Figo, nothing comes close, so just waiting for Baleno(It is a hatchback too) I20 Auto is a joke not a car, Jazz is ok but expensive and again CVT engine compared to DCT in Figo. Will def check that out though as Baleno also has CVT. But i think it will end up between Zest or Figo, not sure why tata did not give AMT in Bolt. phreak
polo gt?
AtheK
polo gt? Too expensive again, a price difference of 2 lacs OTR beween figo and polo is not justified. Both have DSG engine though polo is better in torque, Figo is tuned higher at 110 bhp. Will hardly make much of a difference in day o day commute, though on a plain road Polo will def be much more fun to drive.

Aspire is a very good option in that case as its automatic is really good. Zest's automatic is decent as well.

Zest's automatic is decent as well. Aspire is a good option, but this car will be mainly used only for me so i don't need the boot. So i will go for figo instead as the features are the same, just that figo has all black interior and it is around 80k cheaper. Looking to upgrade to Superb from City, when we get there sometime next year that time it will be awesome fun
