Don't forget beetle comes with the 1.4 tsi DsG, they would probably want to give that engine option in a competing price segment. A 1.4 manual(current jetta engine) will make vento more powerful and desirable compared to city and Verna. But I think a Vento 1.4 DSG might be more viable and they may discontinue the Jetta 1.4 as it does not sell. Also they should seriously consider including paddle shifters in the Tsi as it will give a definitive advantage over the competition. Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk Well we can always wish As for paddle shifter, 14k for retrofit. Also believe me the DSG is such a potent combo with TSI, that you will not want to go manual. I have been driving for 1.5 months and driven 2000 kms already and have never used manual option even once. You just don't realize when you reach 7th gear.
