Parker
Belgian supercar unveiled This is the Gillet Vertigo .5 Spirit. Produced by Tony Gillet - he of Automobiles Gillet fame, naturally - it weighs 950kg, sports a chassis made from Carbon Nomex, has 350mm six-piston brakes, a six-speed sequential gearbox and, according to Google Translate, is 'financially the most accessible of supercars'. It now comes fitted with a Maserati-sourced 4.2-litre V8 producing 420bhp, which, combined with that low weight, should make for some cracking acceleration times. Which, frankly, you'd require. MotaGENDA
^^ Does that mean you really bought this thing??? Some pretty rich guys here I must say... PS: Actually it looks more like it is a Maserati. They've not only borrowed the engine, but also the front grille, side slats, etc. If there was no logo, I would guess this to be a Maserati concept. MotaGENDA
^^ I think roads in Aurangabad are a lot better than they are in Mumbai. and as far as money is concerned, I think all of us know where they get it from.... Death Stryke
@Megzworld There was an article not so long back about Mercedes selling a similar amount of cars (~150) in a single day in Aurangabad. Wow! From what I hear luxury carmakers do excellent business in these Tier 2 cities (Ludhiana, Coimbatore, Cochin and now Aurangabad). steed
Parker, I think the thread title says "The Automobile Thread", so I guess there is no harm in discussing about our own Indian cars? And I was not criticizing your post in any way buddy.
