How about you stop talking. I can feel salty tears in your post lol

I don’t even play cod on PlayStation. :giggle: It’ll be fun to see MS bury the franchise just like halo/gears . All that money and still can’t make good games

Call of Duty isn't targeting new audience. It is pretty much like sports games where year CoD retains the population and continues to dominate the market.

Paying $60 just for 5-6 SP was no go but glad it will be on GP to play without paying specifically for it.

Bestsellers since MW2. CoD has been dominating.

  • 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  • 2010 Call of Duty: Black Ops
  • 2011  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  • 2012 Call of Duty: Black Ops II
  • 2013 Grand Theft Auto V
  • 2014 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  • 2015 Call of Duty: Black Ops III
  • 2016 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  • 2017 Call of Duty: WWII
  • 2018 Red Dead Redemption II
  • 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
  • 2020 Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
  • 2021 Call of Duty: Vanguard

11 out of 13 years CoD was the best seller. The other 2 years went to Rockstar. The funny thing is it still makes less than what KING makes with Candy Crush now.

In q3 2021, Activision made $641MM, Blizzard $491MM, and King $652MM. Mobile gaming is a whole new level for printing money.

$MSFT unchanged.

It’s the Metaverse & NFT/Crypto effect,

measly console/PC gamers think all this effort is for them.
When they were literally abandoned from 2010-2020.

Yep. CoD will bring more exposure to GamePass while King will continue to print with mobile games.

This is biggest purchased in video game industry. Still surreal to see.

IGN 10 years ago wrote this - What if Microsoft Bought Activision Blizzard?

Last week Zynga for $12.7b was biggest. Now $70b. What what's next. Activision was pretty much biggest you could buy.

In majority minds Mobile is a gaming device and games full of MTX and gambling. Ought to do better.

Mobile gaming is all about luck, if a game does well. It succeeds. Many tried going into it.

No game could come even close to these pubg and candy crush and others. Tried once, never getting into that pit.

GOD who plays those games :loco:

What ppl are really eying on is making universal experiences for mobile & core AAA gamers into a lead up to the Metaverse.

Same. Couldn't really bring myself to drop more than 1K on COD games. So it's perfect for me if they come to GP.

Just added value to the money I've already paid.

I know, sad truth, So many buying those MTX and gambles without even knowing.

Mobile games are the reason we get to see MTX in actual games we play.

That makes me more mad.
