same here, love the story and writing. I saw the movie first, many (6) years ago and that got me laughing from all possible directions. Specially the opening parallel about highway being constructed on earth and the one being built through earth. Kind of puts things we crib about daily into perspective wrt their insignificance in greater scheme of things.

Got the book (full edition) a few months back.

Agreed. This series is amazing. Though i haven't read the one by Eion Colfer. Is that any good?

Also can someone recommend some good Star Wars book series? Better if they are after Return of the Jedi.

Reading books is good before watching the visual counterpart (provided you know about the books before) if we are talking about movies. Movies are 2 hrs max and they have all the best bits from the literature, mostly action, and have a fast pace. you can sit through that even if you know the whole story, just to experience it on a grand scale.

tv shows on the other hand are spread over a long time span and require much more attention through out a season, so if you know the plot beforehand then it can become a bit tedious to sit through all the episodes. Just my 0.02 rs.

Is The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy too complicated? Lots of scientific terms or an easy read?

not complicated per se. the writer uses some complicated scientific terms, yes, but mostly for comedic effect as they are immediately mocked for being needlessly complicated and having no real requirement as such. reader is infact told to not over think and instead tread on the story.

About through with The Fountainhead and Howard Roark is the best character ever created. The book is a bit of a mess though. Only reading it for Roark. :majesty:

I'd read it partly a few years ago. Agreed on thr Roark part, though the love story & the chick where just crazy. I love you but i'm punishing myself so marrying him. never got the whole concept. maybe if i read the whole thing it may make some sense.

Got Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand recently & started reading it.seems decent, though way of writing it too close to the fountainhead

Mujhe do! Please :fear:

They may not be in a good condition. The books have been packed in a box from a long time. :fear: I have to bring the box down from storage area.

If you still want it, I have no issues. I will check the condition of these books. Also, will list down the name of books and you can let me know what all you want. It might take some time though.

But looking at your love for reading, I think you might have read everything.
