Doesn't really matter - depends whether you prefer Kindle or Paperback. The only advantage with the Kindle is you don't have to deal with bulkiness and it remembers where you left reading.

For the Asimov question - start with a short story called Nightfall, go on to Foundation Original Trilogy, then switch to the Robot short stories, then the Robot mystery stories (Caves of Steel etc), then do The Gods Themselves, The End of Eternity, and Pebble in the Sky, then his other stories (which will take a few years), then finally the remaining Foundation stories. The guy was an absolute genius churning out books on all subjects and probably the only author to have books in all categories.

Well i usually prefer paperbacks but for these books i believe i need to carry a dictionary with me all the time to check some words..Kindle makes that easier to highlight and check the word..Also have watched the series till now so hopefully books have more info than the show and it won't spoil anything for me..I have heard the font is pretty small in paperbacks..Is it true..

GPS is more reliable than all the maps together in the world. Believe! Google!

Arey i am not questioning the reliability ...but there are factors to consider totally relying on GPS...battery..signal...bad reception....Beside some manual navigation understanding is important anyways.

On serious note this might help

Posting this here as I do not wish to read through any spoilers or ruin the what happens now factor with regards to the GoT Spoiler thread.

Pretty sure there a lot of members here who must have read the entire - A song of Ice and Fire series. Would like to know a couple of things:

1) Has the story of the tv show been relatively the same as the book or is it quite different ?

2) In relation to the tv show - 5th season, which book are we on at the moment ?

3) Are there going to be any more books to follow or has the story ended/concluded in the 7 books that are there ?

After that cliffhanger of an ending, I just cannot wait for a year :P Thinking of starting to read the books from this weekend onwards.

I had the above doubts as one of my friend who is the typical know it all types, told me that the tv show story is quite different from the books and also George Martin has still not concluded the story in the series of 7 books and is currently writing another book ! Hence wanted to know. :P

You cant wait one year for the TV show and wanna start the books? Bad idea. Books wont be done for another 5-7 years. Maybe more. Might be never.

Oh sweet summer child. What do you know of waiting.

ASOIF books are very detailed & very long.. Also the content is very dense imo.. No wonder it takes GRRM so long to finish 1 book.. These books are gigantic!
