Actually  I was..thanks..and I just bought unlimited.. will give it a look

Ahh then its free on Unlimited :)

Personally not a huge fan of the selection but do tell us here if you find something really good in their catalog.

In terms of fantasy, you may also want to have a look at The Queen's Poisoner Series by Jeff Wheeler if I'm not mistaken.

This is also free on KU.

Speaking of Sanderson, started Starsight (Book 2) on audible last night. Listening on 2x speed; will slowly bump it up, as I listen while I cycle.

It's Sanderson's SciFi series, heard Skyward (Book 1) on Audible a month back.

75% done. The remaining 25% will constitute the high paced ending.

Listening on 2x speed, so took lesser time :)

Finished reading Starsight. Fantastic book!! This was entirely on audiobook, loved it.

A review by Daniel in case anyone is interested. This is by Sanderson, who also wrote Mistborn and Stormlight Archives, two of my favourite fantasy series.

Please recommend some books for a 12 year old. Fantasy genre that is somewhat fast paced. My son has read Harry Potter, entire Wimpy Kid series, Funny Kid and he being at home all day, looking for something new. I came across this

Any reviews on above or something else, will be greatly appreciated.

You're son is 12? Well will highly recommend reading The Percy Jackson Series. I read it that age myself, its great.

Its a series of 5 books, followed by another series of 5, followed by yet another series of 5.

If he read through all the Harry Potter books, he will enjoy this 100%.

The first book is called "The Lightning Thief".

Thanks Chirag! :)

Will look into it.

Sure. Rick Riordan is THE AUTHOR for teenage/Young Adult books.

There are still books coming, I still pre-order them and read them.

So if he likes this, there are at least a good 15 books or so to enjoy, will keep him occupied while he's at home :)

Finished Oathbringer. Book 3 of The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. Absolutely phenomenal, easily in the top 5 books I've read.

It was my 4th book this month, though this was a re-read for me. Very excited for Book 4 coming out in November.

Taking a break from epic fantasy, will read more chill stuff until mid-September.

@Madmage Seriously though bro, its 3 huge books, you should get to them now before its November and Book 4 comes out

This series is on a completely different level. Make sure you read Warbreaker before you jump into Book 2 and 3. Its not in the series, but its part of the Cosmere.

Finished Her Royal Highness last night.

Short romance read, pretty good. A bit cliched, but its a girl-girl romance so expected that.

5th Book this month. I can probably squeeze in one more this month :)
