CM Sunny
Dont even know what that means. Its not another one of them weird Japanese visual novel thingmagiky is it? Nope, it's one of the better works out there, here give it a try, http://read.mangashare.com/Uzumaki/chapter-001/page001.html Abhi & Fatty liked it too, Vol 2 (ch 7 - 12) are the best part of the series. I think you'll like it.
Elessar
Can people who have read David Gemmell's books recommend which of them are really good ? I finished his Troy trilogy a while back and absolutely loved it, its among my favourites. Also got his first book, Legend, which was decent. What else is good ? Recommendations for similar books/authors are also welcome, mainly historical fiction. I've read most of Bernard Cornwell, Conn Iggulden, Alex Rutherford, Simon Scarrow. outsider
Currently reading "Bloggers on the Bus" which looks into the role of the blogosphere and netizenry in the 2006 Congressional elections and the 2008 Presidential election. It looks into a new media model. Quite a good read so far.
Bird Bird Bird
Finally got some time to read and started with TAG's The Lost Story. Good read so far. The Rahu & Ketu twist is really good. Should finish in a day or two.
manaseater
Anyone know some good horror novels? I want something that will scare the crap out of me and not let me sleep for weeks- something more of the twisted nature, not really gore or just gross stuff- something like a psychological thriller-
Aftrunner
The Shining is the absolute best when it comes to horror personally. Most of Stephen King's early works are great. Carrie, Misery, Pet cemetary etc.
devil_angel
I've heard of this movie called shining....and OLD one. Is it the same thing?
Aftrunner
Yeah the Kubrick movie was based on the book. VERY VERY good film but I dont think it does the book justice. The book is just absolutely phenomenal. Its King's best work and thats saying something cause the guy has written like 50 novels and most of them are excellent. devil_angel
I'm feeling the urge to get it. Is it advisable to read it alone?
Bird Bird Bird
^^ You SHOULD read it alone. Also Pet Cemetary.

Bird Bird Bird
^^ Also see the movie, the cut version rather than the extended one as the later drags the story a bit (as far as the movie is concerned).
Django_3101
Just received the book "The Lost Story" from flipkart. Going through the Acknowledgement section, the author has thanked Sameer(HundredProofSam) and also mentioned that he wrote for IVG. Is Amit Goyal from IVG?
