My sister is bringing me a Pro from US on the 5th, got it specifically for GTA.

I guess, I might just trade it for now as I don't see much gains in other games, maybe Yotei but haven't seen any updates.

Yotei will melt your Jaw like no other game will.

I have no doubt that it will look great but then again I am not a pixel peaper.

I mainly got pro because I knew GTA will not run well on base Ps5, just like Witcher 3 never ran well on base Ps4 and was much better on Ps4 Pro.

Yotei will look and run great on base Ps5 as well for me.

Look like no competing game will be released in May and June 2026.

As it should be….

Also this is definitely $80 or above…

It’s really sad that we are witnessing two price increases within the same generation…

Sad state of the world at large…

No it was bound to happen. Games remaining at 60$ for so long was what was surprising.

Soo long?!?

Games were $50 on both PSone & PS2 generation.

$60 on both PS3 & PS4.

Two generations of same MRP was always the norm as far as I can remember(before that India only got Pirated stuff).

I don’t think $60 stayed too long & I was hoping that $70 would last atleast till PS7….but it didn’t even last full PS5 generation.

Obviously the worldly scenario is to blame but Damn!!!

What other product in life has remained the same cost for 17 years? Its an anamoly and we were lucky to get it. Nothing about it is the norm.

We got it because the market was expanding greatly + costs offset from DLC and other revenue streams.

But all the layoffs in the past few years have shown that it's not enough. Either game prices have to increase or the costs to make them have to decrease and because people keep demanding the best graphics, physics, everything etc etc again and again, the costs to make it and dev cycles keeps going up.

So something has to give
