spindoctor
yes and yes. check the price though. a copy in singapore would probably cost a lot more than what you'd have to pay if you asked vikram to get you one from usa.

Noctis
Will a key from g2play work fine? There are no server restrictions based on the region right?
spindoctor
yep, no restrictions at all. one key/license will work for both north america and europe.
Rowlot
Few questions: How many levels? How is grinding? Is there any world pvp? or something like battlegrounds? any incentive to attack towns? Any end game raid content yet? what is the raid size? spindoctor
Few questions: How many levels? How is grinding? Is there any world pvp? or something like battlegrounds? any incentive to attack towns? Any end game raid content yet? what is the raid size? i can't answer any of those questions yet i think battlegrounds exist, there was some mention of pvp after level 10. not completely sure though. no idea about world pvp. i know there are raids though, they showed one during e3 i think? i think it was a 10-12 man raid, don't remember for sure. you should probably read the swtor site to find out all the info you're looking for. MarketTantrik
@Spin: which server are you playing on and how are you paying the monthly fee?
spindoctor
the monthly fee setup will be required after the 20th. credit card or paypal are both options. as for server, i have a couple of characters, one on an eu pvp server and one on an american pve server. once you guys get the game we can decide which server we want to play on and i'll reroll. MarketTantrik
Ok. How is the latency to each server?
spindoctor
haven't been able to find the ping indication in the ui. i'm going to assume it's the standard 180 or so to europe and 300 to america. i played wow for years at pings of 600-800 and i never had any problems, so it will definitely not be an issue here. Rowlot
i played wow for years at pings of 600-800 and i never had any problems, so it will definitely not be an issue here. WoW had 1 to 1.5 global client cooldown on all spells and abilities which helped high latency players. Hope SWTOR has a similar feature.
spindoctor
i can't seem to remember whether this game has a gcd. in any case, low pings for mmos are only really required for high end pvp and uber high end raiding (even that is questionable). for regular players like us higher pings are fine. Tyler, do you want the CE or the SE? i have it on good authority that tyler has a life size boba fett blow up doll to go along with his one piece jabba the hutt costume, so i'm thinking he'll want the collector's.
