Interested in this but i want to know whether the pc version include all dlcs and give all the future dlc for free?

Includes all the current DLCs. Won't include future DLCs. It's going to take probably more than a year for them to release next set of DLCs.

They are planning to release another 3-4 DLCs.

Tabata said that Square Enix would be releasing three episodes in 2018, but since then that number has increased to four. That means the likelihood of all four coming out this year is reasonably small, so expect to see at least one of the episodes release in 2019.

The first episode will focus on Final Fantasy XV’s main antagonist,

Ardyn. An extension of his story was most-requested in the user survey published by Square Enix back in May 2017. After that, players may see an episode focusing on Luna, although Tabata does suggest that future DLC may move away from the episode structure, as he doesn’t believe that that the game’s story can be completed in a creative sense.

I won't wait for the 2nd batch of DLCs. They will forever to release. Just get the Royal Edition/Windows edition and enjoy.

I also thinking of buying it. Why have they increased the price. First it was 2599rs. Also how many future dlc will there?

Because of origin platform release. I contacted square enix abt the price increase in India they said since origin platform have no region lock compared to Steam so they need to increase the prices to match Int'l price to prevent mass buying of game by the foreigners you can still buy and activate a russian steam key which include india

Royal Edition on PS4/Xbox has no DLC on disc. It is the base game that needs a ~ 28GB patch then all the DLCs need to be downloaded so youre looking at 50ish minimum download despite buying physical. Playing through it now on Xbox. Played it at launch on PS4.

Final Fantasy XV - Four New DLC Announced Bringing New Ending; Mod Tools and Much More Revealed

vu7jmpO.jpg

Every day, players will also receive a treasure box to hide anywhere they like in the world. With each day passing without the treasure being found by another player, it will increase in value.

A Level Editor will also come, but it’ll take a bit more time. It will be released in fall 2018. In the video below you can check out some of the things that you’ll be able to create with it. They includes new quests, dungeons, chocobo races, vehicles, and even new minigames.

Comrades will also launch as a stand-alone game this Summer

4 MORE DLCs

  • The first episode is Episode I; Ardyn. For the moment the working title is “The Conflict of the Sage.” Keep in mind that by reading the description of each DLC in the gallery at the bottom of the post you’ll be exposed to relevant spoilers about the story of the main game, so do it at your own risk.
  • The second episode is Episode Side Story: Aranea, titled “The Beginning of the End”
  • The third episode will be Episode II: Lunafreya, titled “The Choice of Freedom.”
  • The last episode will be Episode III: Noctis, titled “The Final Strike.” The title of the whole lineup is “Dawn the Future,” and they will be directed by Takefumi Terada, who was at the helm of Episode Ignis.

To accompany the new line of DLC, a brand new theme song is being composed by Final Fantasy XV maestro Yoko Shimomura. Below you can check out a calendar for the releases. The four DLC episodes will actually come in 2019.

Wanted to try a demo after trying FFVII

but there is none

is the gameplay similar to FFVII ?!?

or different

No, gameplay in Final Fantasy XV is very different. XV is a pure action game. It's also open-world (For the first 3/4ths of the game). The open World is great and you will enjoy it. But at the end, it's going to railroad you into linear gameplay (With corridor sequences) for the last couple of hours. There are plenty of stuff to explore though. Unlike Final Fantasy 7 Remake, in Final Fantasy 15 - you will only be playing with 1 character. The other characters are only playable on the DLCs (These days it's the Complete Edition that's only sold I guess, so you will get the DLCs anyway). It's fun and a good game, but it's very different from Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Story-wise all Final Fantasies are different and have their own stand-alone stories (Set in different Worlds, different time periods etc. at that). So the story of Final Fantasy 15 has nothing to do with Final Fantasy 7 Remake or any other Final Fantasies. You can play any one you feel like without missing anything.

I disagree with XV open world. It is pretty bad pair with awful side stuff. Only the main portion of the game was good.

The combat is simple and you could get past with 1 button. Magic is clunky.

The game should have stayed linear.

So it’s an out & out hack & slash game

nothing to do with turn based right

might try this before VII

Yup, has no turn-based elements at all.

Final Fantasy 16 might also follow the same route, since the battle director for that is the one who did Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon's Dogma.

@Joe Cool It was decent exploration. Obviously, it was not Skyrim level, but the dungeons you found was fun, as was the new towns and cities. Side quests were pretty decent as well

Of course if you compare overall game quality - Final Fantasy 7 Remake will blow it out of the water. But then again, FF7R is only Part 1. It's not the complete story yet.

@AnK You really should play FF7R first. It's far better than this (There was a huge development hell for this game, which affected quality a lot) But then again, if you come to this game after FF7R - you might get disappointed.

The combat in FF7 Remake dumps all over FF15. 7remake is an infinitely superior game.

The open world is beautiful in FF15 though. Side quests are 100% fetch quests barring dungeon bosses.

FF XV you can now switch characters i think mid combat. It's combat is trash though. Just keep the attack button pressed until enemy dies.

Yep. It is a shame that they are doubling down on action combat for FF16 as well. In overall tone and theme, FF16 looks interesting. However, i might have to skip it due to combat.

yakuza combat is essentially button mashing square and triangle

Yeah, but there are so many combos and moves. It's true u can mash square and triangle but you don't have to.
