playstationdude
Could be. Though i was expecting more of the FF13 pseudo open world route. Maybe if doesn't have too much grinding it could be good.

GeraltOfRivia
My eyes are not used to notice these kind of issues(especially framerates) but here it's pretty noticeable. serious peformance issue's in the demo. feels like its running on unity or some b tier dev making a AAA game. No frame-rate issues for me on XO but lot of jaggies and low-textures but great lightning. While PS4 offers a clear frame-rate advantage in cut-scenes, Sony's machine has a unique problem in frame-pacing not found on Xbox One. Similar to Bloodborne, a faulty 30fps cap causes PS4 to render in new frames at irregular intervals, causing its frame-time to switch erratically between 16 and 50ms. As ever, this creates the perception of stutter where there should be none - a frustrating bug, and one that means Xbox One plays out more fluidly when it hits its target 30fps cap. - Digital Foundry

Aloy
-Weapons can have status effects-There are moogles in the game -There aren't any tomberi in the game -There are no load times neither while driving nor flying the world -The selection of Final Fantasy songs for the car radio is diverse, but they haven't decided yet if it includes songs from every game. -New Game + confirmed. -He can't answer who the female character with the motorbike is in the Kingsglaive trailer but she will play a certain role in the story. -The mobile game connects to the main game and you are supposed to play it on short bursts while completing FFXV. -Final Fantasy XV needs to sell 10M copies to be a success bs -The old man in the japanese trailer was Cid -Chocobos probably wont be able reach secret areas but you can enhance their abilities with greens, same as the food system for the character -A photo mode is possible but for now Prompto takes the pics Source:

Aloy
The Final Fantasy name holds incredible significance for role-playing fans. Even though recent installments are divisive, no one can deny the impact this series has had on the RPG genre and gaming as a whole. However significant those contributions may be, Square Enix is not content to let this franchise’s legacy remain in the past. The team behind Final Fantasy XV – led by director Hajime Tabata – recognizes the missteps in the series’ history, but is working toward a bright future. With action-focused combat, open-world technology, and a renewed focus on characters and storytelling, Square Enix is hoping to reclaim its position at the forefront of the RPG genre. This title has been on gamers’ radar since it was first announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII a decade ago. Fans just got a flood of new information last week at the Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event…but the surprises don’t stop there. In our massive 20-page cover story, we offer an even more in-depth look at the game with exclusive new details. We spent a week in Tokyo visiting Square Enix’s offices with unprecedented access, playing the game for hours and interviewing the creative minds making it happen. We talk to the team about everything fans want to know: exploration, narrative, combat, summons, and more. Whether your enthusiasm for Final Fantasy is new, old, or even lapsed, this story is a must-read. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOL, they are going to drown. It's not like this game is a proud pillar of misogyny. And damn, Cindy is overly sexualised
